ZhouQin and two Han dynasty Chinese had an abvious development and change from Shangzhou Dynasy to Western and Eastern Han Dynasty. Comparing with Indo-European language, Chinese serial-verb construction is one of special sentence constructions as an isolating language. In a sentence, serval-verbs can appear on the Principle of Time Sequence(PTS) after subject. This construction existed from JiaGuWen to modern Chinese. Some other grammar construction originated from it. People paid more attention to the serial-verb construction of modern Chinese than archaic Chinese. We chosen four pieces of classical document such as Shangshu,Zuozhuan,Shiji,Lunheng, to study this construction by connecting monographic study with document study ,connecting Synchronic depict and Diachronic comparation, connecting quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis, connecting grammartical analysis with semantic analysis.Dicribing the serial-verb construction in this document, we will observe and explain the change and development in more than one thousand years. We found: 1)In ZhouQin and two Han dynasty Chinese, the serial-verb construction without conjunction. didn't change. Because it expressed connection on PTS. 2)The serial-verb construction with conjunction changed in those years. The number of conjunction changed from less to more to less again. It resulted from different reasons. In early time, it was because of the system and the function of coujunction. Later it was because of other grammar factors: verb-direction complement and verb-result complement and so on. 3)The serval verbs in serial verb construction had the same grammar status but the different semantic status. One of the verbs would be the core verb. The other would be secondary verb. The verbal feature of the verb will lighten, and the meaning would be abstract. Then its location would fix gradually. If this verb appeared the place of V1,to express time, place, location, reason, object and so on,it would grammaticalized to preposition such as 从,在,凭,对. If the verb was in the place of V2.it often was a Vi,for example directional verb or state verb. It was usage of factitive verbs if objects followed it.This contradicted with PTS(subject is before action). They would grammaticalized to directional complement and result complement. Summarizing from the above, we know Chinese grammar are stable. But objectly, the development and change in this years influnced Chinese to make predicate more complex, and made expression more delicate. ZhouQin and two Han dynasty Chinese was a period time we can't ignore in the whole Chinese history. It was originations of much grammaratical phenomenon.. Effected by archaic Chinese, serial-verb construction in medieval Chinese changed more strongly than before.
