It is a common syntactic phenomenon that verbs can serve as the complement, as well as the important and difficult of foreign students learning. Now, the research results can not satisfy the needs of foreign Chinese teaching, especially the semantics relationship and semantics grammaticalization when verbs as the complement, which also became a great trouble for foreign students.When used in sentences, Verb-Result Complement has brought complicated semantic problems, which has divided into two different types:predicate verbs and nominal which are Agent grid, Patient grid, Object Grid, The results grid, Instrumentalgrid, Material grid, Range grid, Premises grid, Time grid, The number of grid Verbs can produce various degree of semantics when serve as the complement.According to grammaticalization degree, it can put into three kinds:original meaning, semi-grammaticalization meaning, and basically grammaticalization meaning. Actually, grammaticalization is effect of people cognition style. Mainly in metaphor thought, verbs have produced extend meaning and grammaticalization meaning.In order to reduce the difficult of Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language, we cannot confine Verb-Result Complement in common teaching, but can adopt other teaching methods as whole cognition, semantics directing and metaphor cognition.
