| The self-determination of technology is limited. Usually technology is acted as the tool of the politics, economics, military affairs and so on, meanwhile the technological progress are affected by or resulting from social and political factors, no matter how forward or backward which is that obvious in the field of spaceflight that are based on multi-disciplines.The author observes that spaceflight project reflects the scientific level, industry capability, military potentials of the country involved, even the mobilizing ability on the masses. The most countries which develop in the spaceflight field emphasize to gain the specific propagandized aims or deliver some political signals via spaceflight activities related, so China is not an exception. The author summarizes the political and propagandized function related to the spaceflight activities to the broad point of view. At the same time he tries to find out related evidence from the early stage of Chinese spaceflight.The article takes 'Dong Fang Hong (The East is Red) 1' satellite project as an example to illuminate how to put forward and implement the political and propagandized functions of it.
