The paper mainly combines linguistics with philology, further collection and spelling of Xuan-ying Yin Yi. Several scholars have done some research on the book. It is still a unexploited area filled with treasures.The book has a complicated problem of circulation, of version. We should solve the problem first less we have the wrong text. The version of Xuan ying's book could mainly be divided into two series, that is ,Gao li collections and Qisha collections. But we should go further into this subject. The research shows that Gao li collections have the abridged text, Qisha collections, the unabridged. It is important for us, because we should know whether the character has been altered.The system of Xuan-ying's pronunciation is similar to Qie-yun's. But we should give it a good explanation, a reasonable explanation. Chou-fagao finds that the reason should be the same place they live in, Chang-an. But materials show that Xuan-ying used the pronunciation within other areas also.
