A Study To The Technique Character Of Sofia Gubaidulina's Composition

This thesis has mainly analyzed and studied the music works of Russian composer Sofia Gubaidulina(1931-) who is now still very active on the international music platform. The research will concentrate on the unique technique of compound character in Sofia Gubaidulina's music creation, starting from the related religious, philosophy, history, human spirit, living environment, as well as the background of society and politics of her music works.In chapter 1, the main factors that affect Gubaidulina's music creativity a lot, such as her living environment, history, culture and the background for society and politics etc., have been analyzed and studied in detail, otherwise the reason for Gubaidulina's individual character has also been summarized here, which includes her powerful imagination, deep thought, rebelling, seeking after freedom, and the interrelation between her unique composite mentality and music language. It also pays attention to the subject how the religious affect Gubaidulina's music creativity, as well as the forming factor and feature about the composer's aesthetic appreciation of music. It yet includes the composer's religion idea to chase the religion essence mixing with the spirit, and her concern for human spirit by using the religion material in her music. The philosophic theory of conceiving her music works, dichotomy and comparison unity for writing, and her aesthetic appreciation feature of paying attention to the balance between reason and perceptivity are also discussed in this chapter.In chapter 2 to 4, from the angle of three important category: pitch, timbre, rhythm in the theory of composition technique about the music creation, a conclusion has been made about various music factors, such as determinacy pitch and un-determinacy pitch, welltempered system and microtonal notation system, other pitch factors in harmonize chord and un- harmonize chord; routine instruments...
