The national security problem is the extremely important problem that one country's regime should resolved it first. One of the primary purposes of the United Nations is the maintenance of international peace and security. Since its creation, the United Nations has become the most important, most universal international organization in the world. If one nation could establish its status in the United Nations, it is an important yardstick that its regime could join in the international community, shows that the international community admits its regime, and has a close relationship with the national security of this country.Because of tremendous contribution in Antifascist War of the world, China became one of the original members of the United Nations, made great power's status, and became one of the permanent members of Security Council. After the foundation of the PRC, as the only legitimate government, Chinese Government should exercise China's representation in the United Nations, but it was long refused from the United Nations. China's representation had exercised by the KMT group that had lost the qualification of representing China.The question of representation of China in the United Nations was formed during the Cold War special international background. The People's Republic of China was refused from the United Nations, which is a quip of the principle of universality of the United Nations and a tremendous pressure on the national security of the PRC. The settlement of the representation is a microcosm of shifting or dividing between the various political forces and succeeding or failing in the China's diplomatic and internal affairs in the past twenty years.This text first historically survey the efforts of Chinese Government in resolving the question of representation of China in the United Nations from the point of view of the strategy, put forward a viewpoint that the solution of the question of representation of China in the United Nations is the long-term efforts of Chinese Government. Firmly safeguard national sovereignty and always adhere to the one-China principle, which is the unshakable principle in resolving the China's representation in the United Nations. After the foundation of the PRC, in the face of extremely complex international situation, Chinese Government had positively struggled in the United Nations at first.
