Many reading books for children are kept in Dunhuang(敦煌)Manuscripts.Besides Qianziwen(åƒå—æ–‡),Mengqiu(蒙求),Taigongjiajiao(太公家教),which are handed down,many books which have been lost,such as Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“),Suwuyaominglin(ä¿—å‹™è¦åæž—),Zajishiyongyaozi(雜集時用è¦å—),are included in Dunhuang Manuscripts.Most scholars, achieving considerable advances,focus on the study of the former style,or on Suwuyaominglin(ä¿—å‹™è¦åæž—),Zajishiyongyaozi(雜集時用è¦å—),which can be used as dictionaries.Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“),the ancestor of the common people's reading books,has not been paid enough attention it should be paid.The dissertation,consisted of two parts,carries out study on Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“)manuscripts.Firstly,we review the educational backgrounds ofDunhuang(敦煌)of Tang and Five Dynasties.Secondly,we introduce related information about Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“), such as,the author,the creative age,the form,the content,the value and the present study situations.Thirdly,based on the general survey of Dunhuang(敦煌)Manuscripts,we find 79 pieces of Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“)manuscripts,including 30 pieces,which are originally recognized by us,and present the state of them fully and clearly.At the same time we patch up 34 pieces of them into 8 texts and get 5 copying system of Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“).Furtherly, we discuss the style,the cause and the value of the variant expressions of Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“)in detail.At the last part of part one,we compare Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“)with Qanziwen(åƒå—æ–‡),another children reading book,to reveal the differences between them.In part two,we collate the Kaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“)Manuscripts thoroughly,so as to provide a reliable text ofKaimengyaoxun(é–‹è’™è¦è¨“)for the scholars.
