The Dunhuang manuscripts collected in National Library of France includes the Chinese manuscripts mainly wrote by cursive characters.This thesis collates and researches six of them whose number and title are as listed below:P.2063,The Brief Transcription of Nyāya prave(?)atāka(?)āstra;P.2063V°,The Rear Commentaries of Nyāya prave(?)atāka(?)āstra;P.2141,Volume One of The Brief Interpretation of Awakening Faith of Mahayana;P.2412V°,Volume Four of The Interpretation of Awakening Faith of Mahayana;P.3561,Qian Zi Wen(千字文)in Regular and Cursive Characters writen by Jiang Shanjin(蒋善进);P.4642,The Facsimile of Wang Xizhi’s(王羲之)Zhanji Hutao Tie(旃罽胡桃帖).Those manuscripts have great value of research,while there is great difficulty.Therefore relative research is not much,lots of works to be done.This thesis focuses on Chinese characters,collates and researches the six manuscripts,revises the mistakes,probes into knotty cursive characters.The main part of this thesis sums up six types of mistakes of former interpretations,explains threee main reasons leading to mistakes,proposes three approaches for cursive characters’ s recognition,discusses the value of Dunhuang cursive manuscripts in Chinese characters.Many valuable characters remain in Dunhuang cursive manuscripts.Those cursive characters is of great value of the research of Chinese characters’ history and other relational researches.This thesis compiles them into a dictionary attached in the end titled Cursive Characters Table of Dunhuang Manuscripts Collected in National Library of France. |
