Light literature research in the category of the ancient Chinese literature has experienced the course from modem change of type,entry civilian,discipline establishment to entry prosperity in the first half 20^thcentury.The history of Half centuries' light literature has contained significance of rich learning history,thought history and literature history,and among of the contents such as body concept of light literature,the relationship between light literature and folk literature and discipline system construction of light literature have been academic propositions which are mostly worthy to be paid close attention to and discussed in the first half of 20^th century.The text is being intended to take the "discipline establishment of Chinese light literature" as centre,take "macroscopic view" as the main expression mode of "light literature study" and enter the thought of light literature study in the first half 20^thcentury from visual angles such as the evolution trajectory of the history,the overall outline studying and the studying method etc in order to approach to history, show learning background,excavate the intention of history and culture that the person contains accumulates,trace its' the intention course of discipline development, analyze inherent artery and vein of logic evolution,observe the overall criticizing situation according to light literature and draw rough outline of light literature in the half of 20^thand then have a obvious judgment on the unique literature phenomenon "get involved in the times ",benefit for the future construction and research in the way of light literature.According to the above thoughts,the basic conception of the thesis is as follow: draw the rough outline of the light literature in the half of 20^thcentury from macroscopic view and expression mode and expect to analyze deeply the discipline construction of Chinese light literature in the first chapter;take "the discipline construction of Chinese light literature" as clue,comb longitudinally the history of the discipline construction of Chinese light literature in the half of 20^thcentury in the latter four chapters in order to finish the overall understanding of Chinese light literature in the half of 20^thcentury through longitudinal and breadth wise analysis. Main contents of the thesis are as follows:The first chapter is "overall situation of the research of Chinese light literature in the first half of 20^thcentury".This chapter will provide overall situation and development state of the research of Chinese light literature in the first half of 20^th century distinctly from "body research of light literature","documentary research of light literature","literature history of light literature","cross discipline research of light literature" etc in the breadth wise view,which is expected to comb obviously the inner logic relationship and the research trend of light literature research in this phrase.The second chapter is "pioneer wasteland and develop the source:modern change of light literature research".The status of lighter literature such as novel, traditional opera etc are raised from the movement of modem literature reform;the findings of Dunhuang's literature extend the scope of the field of light literature;Wang guowei's "The Traditional History of Song and Yuan Dynasty" and Luxun's "Chinese novel outline history" pioneer the modem mode of Chinese light literature research.
