The Annotation of Classices is a comprehensive book of explaining the pronunciation and meaning of a character in Han Wei and Six Dynasties.A great number of yinqie in it can be devided into two categories . One is yinqie that Lu Demin examined and approved. Another is yinqie of Han Wei and Six Dynasties that he quoted,we call it"quoted yinqie".Although the research on quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics has achieved fruitful results, there are also two major drawbacks. The first is the conclusions are very inconsistent in some important problems . Another is many mistakes exist in the matching between phonetics and their semantics, which became one of the most important direct reasons leading to the inconsistent conclusions. We did our research from two aspects. The first is to study the matching between phonetics and their semantics with the quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics as materials. We joined the study on yinqie and the matching between phonetics and their semantics together, discussed about the nature and significance, the complexity and the methods of the matching between phonetics and their semantics. In addition, we analyzed more than five thousand quoted yinqie one by one, through which differentiated effective yinqie and ineffective yinqie, differentiated if those yinqie were labeling phonetics for the prefixes or not, and matched the effective yinqie. Ineffective yinqie means zhiyin of no-phonetic-notation, including zhiyin of explaining the meaning of a character, zhiyin of making a clear distinction of interchangeability of chinese characters, zhiyin of differentiating character form. Those yinqie that were not labeling phonetics for the prefixes, some noted phonetic for variant, some noted phonetic for notes and commentaries, some noted phonetic for approximate character in form, some noted phonetic for synonym, some noted phonetic for original character. The second is to use the Statistics Law to sum up the yinqie and mixed yinqie on the basis of matching between quoted yinqie'phonetics and their semantics, in order to inquire into the phonetics of LiuChao Dynasty. For this purpose, we had to extract the quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics at first. As the styles were too difficult to understand, and some chief offenders of yinqie were also hard to determine, so we had better pay more attention to the truth while extracting the quoted yinqie. After that, we made use of the technology of XML to label and extract the quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics all around, and then divided them by sects. According to the figures, we found there were more than one hundred sects here in The Annotation of Classics about the quoted yinqie, and the number was much less than two hundred and thirty.Through researching into the matching between quoted yinqie'phonetics and their semantics, we found many special"yinqie"and many mistakes of matching during the former research. At last, we made a quite comprehensive induction of the information disclosed from the study of the quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics based on the matching between phonetics and their semantics.1) Initials(1) Light Chunyin and Heavy Chunyin were mixed together during Liangjin Dynasty and in NanBeichao Dynasty there was the tendency of differentiating.(2) Tongueyin and SheShangyin have been differentiated.(3) ZhuangGroupyin and JingGroupyin have been differentiated.(4) There are different views about the yinqie Nimu and Niangmu do for each other.(5) There are a few yinqie between Rimu and Nimu. And there are a few yinqie between Rimu and Niangmu.(6) There are a few yinqie between Yimu and Dingmu.(7) There are a few mixed yinqie between Yunmu and Xiamu.(8) There are a few mixed yinqie between Yunmu and Yimu.(9) There are a few mixed yinqie between Qingyin and Zhuoyin.2) Rhyme(1) There are a few mixed yinqie between Tongshe and Jiangshe.(2) There are a few mixed yinqie during different rhymes of Zhishe.(3) There are a few mixed yinqie during different rhymes of Yushe.(4) There are a few mixed yinqie between Taiyun and Huiyun of Xieshe.(5) There are a few mixed yinqie between Jiyun and Xueyun.(6) There are a few mixed yinqie"between Henyun and Hunyun of Zhenshe.(7) There are a few mixed yinqie between Xiaoyun and Xiaoyun of Xiaoshe.(8) There are a few mixed yinqie between Geyun and Geyun of Guoshe.(9) There are a few mixed yinqie between Tangyun and Yangyun of Dangshe.(10) There are a few mixed yinqie between Gengyun and Gengyun , Qingyun and Qingyun of Gengshe.(11) There are a few mixed yinqie between Youyun and Youyun , Houyun and Youyun of Gengshe. 3) IntonationsThe system of intonations in quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics is the same as that of The Qieyun, but there exist few differences in the Character'intonation. From the information disclosed by studying the quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics based on the matching between phonetics and their semantics, we found that different sects have consistent view about the system of phonetics. So we concluded from the whole that quoted yinqie in The Annotation of Classics are the general phonetics in WeijinNanbeiChao, and The Annotation of Classics also disclosed some information about the dialects.
