A Systematical Research On Exegetic Materials In WuJingZhengYi

WuJingZhengYi, written by Kong Yingda, the learned scholar of flourishing age, began in ZhenGuan twelfth year, and is scheduled to YongHui fourth year. It’s for a total of16years, and is to the Confucian classics’Unity and summary of the south and north. WuJingZhengYi, as the great works of the Confucian classics, not only proofreads the words of the scripture and the annotation, but also can load one’s pages with references and mix masses of statements together; not only researches textually and adds predecessors’statements, but also use the Exegesis of Phonetics’ methods with innovation to explain the words’etymology and phonetic alternation.This thesis is just based on the absorption and reference from the predecessors’ research results, and JiaQing version of ShiSanJingZhuShu (Zhonghua Book Company,2009), which is calibrated and recorded by Ruan Yuan, Qing Dynasty. The research subject is WuJingZhengYi, written by Kong Yingda. And the materials of the Exegesis of Phonetics in WuJingZhengYi is the object of research. Through collecting and systemizing with exhaustion, quantitative analysis and systematic study, the thesis investigates comprehensively the Exegesis of Phonetics’forms and main content of the materials, the phonetic and semantic relationship between interpreting words and interpreted words, and so on. Therefore, Kong Yingda’s achievements in the field of Exegetics, Philology, Phonology and so on, will get affirmation. Moreover, the thesis distinguishes and analyses some faults of Kong’s commentary, in order to contribute to the related research in a way.The introduction mainly includes there parts in this thesis. Firstly, it simply describes Kong Yingda’s life experience and main works. Secondly, the writing and modification, the versions of WuJingZhengYi are also discussed briefly here. Thirdly, it’s related to the current research status of WuJingZhengYi and the research meanings and missions of this study in detail.In Chapter Two, there are four main questions. Firstly, it reasonably defines the concept of Exegesis of Phonetics before collecting, sifting and systemizing. That is to say, a fundamental survey of exegetics comes first. Secondly, it simply describes the quantity and distribution of the materials of the Exegesis of Phonetics in WuJingZhengYi. Thirdly, the Exegesis of Phonetics’ forms or terms, are summarized here. Finally, the main content of the materials is also analyzed.Chapter Three in the thesis, which is in accordance with the research on traditional phonology, analyzes and researches the phonetic relationships of the materials of the Exegesis of Phonetics in WuJingZhengYi, and then summarizes the phonetic types.According to the related theories, Chapter Four analyzes and researches the semantic relationships of the materials of the Exegesis of Phonetics in WuJingZhengYi, and then summarizes the semantic types.The exegetic achievements and contribution of WuJingZhengYi, is analyzes and summarized in Chapter Five, which also distinguishes and analyses some faults of Kong’s commentary.Finally, the systematical research on exegetic materials in WuJingZhengYi will be summarized and generalized.
