A Document Study On Xin Xu And Shuo Yuan

Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan are two works written by Liu Xiang,a scholar in West-Han Dynasty. With peculiar styles and similar gist,the two books have long been arousing dispute on the time when they came out,the source and its authenticity of materials as well as the way they were composed. The Predecessors have done a large amount of job in document arranging,such as the distinguishing of editions,emendation and annotation of characters,collection of missing pieces,and the checking of historical facts.On the basis of that,this article does a comparative study of Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan..By connecting the two books with classical documents and unearthed documents,it conducts comprehensive and specific analysis,and reveals document source and document value of this two books.Introduction:This part mainly sums up the current situations of document studying related to Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan,ascertaining the range and priority of this paper.The first chapter is about Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan' document study,focusing on the time when they formed and the spreading of the two books.It tries to certify the truth of Shuo Yuan's narrating record,define the repeated documents from the two books and analyze the characteristics of them, sum up the condition of prehominid's Collection of Missing Pieces and make its own judgments and analysis.The second chapter deals with the study of the Cross-literature about the two books and Kong ZUia Yu.Based on the knowledge of Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan's Cross-literature,this article mainly analyses the relation between Shuo Yuan and Kong Zi Jia Yu.The conclusion is that Cross-literature of Shuo Yuan and the current version of Kong Zi Jia Yu come from the ancient copies of Kong Zi Jia Yu,and the current version of Kong ZiJia Yu isn't a false book.Third chapter mainly studies the Cross-literature about the two books and Han Shi Wai Zhuan. According to the frequency of the documents being quoted from Han Shi Wai Zhuan and the way of the documents being changed,this article reaches a conclusion that Xin Xu is Classificates documents with ending sentence,the two books and Han Shi Wai Zhuan contain two types of ideological orientation-Confucianism and Taoism and there are different lofty ideas between Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan.The Fourth chapter is the study of the treading documents about two books and Lv Shi Chun Qiu.It deals with the statistics of the treading documents about two books and Lv Shi Chun Qiu, research into the document's thought in common about two book and Lv Shi Chun Qiu,and realizes that Xin Xu and Shuo Yuan's different stylistic references have an effect with the way of quoting document.The Fifth chapter concerns the treading documents about two books and four historical books,such as Zuo Zhuan.This paper has analysed the treading documents'condition of the two books and four historical books.Because the two books and Zuo Zhuan' story are almost the same,while words is greatly different,they should belong to the history story of different syetems Xin Xu quotes some history stories from Zhan Guo Ce and Shi Ji instead of Guo Y u,which reflect scholars' elegant appearance in Spring and Autumn and the Warring States periods.The sixth chapter is about the two books and other books.By analyzing seven books'treading documents such as Da Dai Li Ji,Li Ji,Yan Zi Chun Qiu,Xun Zi,Han Fei Zi,Jia Yi Xin Shu,Huai Nan zi,this paper discovers that six of them aren't the document source of the two books,except that Yan Zi Chun Qiu is quoted by Shuo Yuan,The seventh chapter is the studyof the two books and unearthed documents,which mainly include ding xian ba jiao lang Han jian Ru Jia The Yan,fu yang shuang gu dui Han jian such as No 1 Wooden Tablets,No 2 Wooden Tablets and Shuo Lei Za Shi.By comparing the words,the paper reaches the conclusion that the words of Shuo Yuan are more primitive because they are close to unearthed documents and Kong Zi Jia Yu may have been re-organized and processed.Taking unearthed document as text,Shuo Yuan has become a new book of clear argumentation after being allotted labeled with the eye.This article finally gets the conclusion that the two books formed in different times;the gist and cited documents are partly similar and partly different;the treading documents of Shuo Yuan and the current version of Kong Zi Jia Yu comefrom the ancient Kong Zi Jia Yu.Kong Zi Jia Yu isn't a false book;the two books highlight the Confucianism by changing the ending when citing Han Shi Wai Zhuan and Lv Shi Chun Qiu,.The history stories of the two books and Zuo Zhuan Guo Yu Zhan Guo Ce Shi Ji belong to the different systematic versions.
