Research On Relationship Between Oirad, Tibet And Qing Dynasty In Early 18^th Century

After the battle Jaγunmodu,Relationship between Oirad,Tibet and Qing Dynasty has been came into new phase,many momentous events happened,the political pattern of Qinghai-Tibet highland been changed.Those events were very influential to aftertime,such as the fifteen-years-secret after fifth generation Dalai Lama died came to light,came forth three sixth generation Dalai Lama in Tibet one by one,Qinghai and Qoshud submitted to Qing, Tibet was occupied by J(u|¨)ngγar,finished 75years dominion of Qoshud in Tibet,Qing Dynasty dispatched troops to Tibet two times and Tibet was submitted to Qing.The dissertation took advantage of original historical materials written by Manzhu and Mongolian for the first time,such as Memorials to the Throne of Emperor Kangxi,Red Color Reply of Emperor toward Memorials to the Throne of ministers,Archives of All Generations Dalai Lama and Banchin Erdeni Treasured up Qing Dynasty,Archives of Mongolian department of Qing ministry,Combined with Biographies of all generations Dalai Lama and Banchin Erdeni and official history materials of Qing government,such as Stratagems Toward North Region,History of Qing Dynasty,Tabular Biographies of Nobles,based on foregoing research production,discussed the relationship between Oirad,Tibet and Qing dynasty from 1696 to 1720,put forward personal opinion about this problem.The dissertation is consisted of preface,text and epilogue.In the preface,the author expatiates to selective intention and meaning,general situation of foregoing research production,basic historical materials and researching methods of the theme.The text is consisted of five parts.In the first chapter discusses the contending between emperor Kangxi and Sde-ba sangs-rgyas-rgya-mtsho for dieing of fifth generation Dalai Lama.The author thinks that after 1682,under subterfuge of Dalai Lama will,Sde-ba sangs-rgyas-rgya-mtsho secreted the dieing of fifth generation Dalai Lama fifteen years successfully.As the same time with inquiring about the reason of fifth generation Dalai Lama dieing,Sde-ba reported the cause to emperor Kangxi through Nimatang-Qutuγtu in 1696.Although Sde-ba pretended to obsequious under stateliness,but did not handle affairs with order of emperor Kangxi and protect his interest in Tibet as soon as possible.The second chapter discusses conquering process of Qing dynasty toward Qinghai and Tibet region,after battle Jaγunmodu.In the first phase,Qoshud Taiji was submitted to Qing dynasty.In the second phase,Sangnandor i Lama garrisoned into Xining and began to inquiring affairs of Qinghai and Tibet region.In the third phase,Qing dynasty began to supported lha-bzang-han.In the forth phase,Heseu went to Tibet,managed Tibet affairs with Lha-bzang-han.The third chapter discusses the process and deeply meaning of Sixth Generation Dalai Lama Event.The author puts forward concept of Sixth Dalai Lama Event for the first time,makes detailed textual research about Tshangs-dbyangs-rgya-mtsho,Ye-shes-rgya-mtsho,Bskal-bzang-rgya-mtsho,who three sixth generation Dalai Lamas.And the author gets conclusion that Tshangs-dbyangs-rgya-mtsho never apotheosized by emperor Kangxi,Ye-shes-rgya-mtsho was not bastard of Lha-bzang-han but was found by Sde-ba Sangs-rgyas-rgya-mtsho,Bskal-bzang-rgya-mtsho was apotheosized by emperor Kangxi under political intentions.Sixth Generation Dalai Lama Event has been continued more than one hundred years and made significant influence to relationship between Oirad,Tibet and Qing dynasty.The forth chapter discusses the three years(from 1718 to 1720) history of J(u|¨)ngγar in Tibet.The author researches the reason of Cewang-rabtan anabasis,generals in troop,march route,process of conquering and main activities in Tibet.The fifth chapter researches the whole process of conquering Tibet of Qing dynasty.The author discusses the process of two times anabasis of Qing,different result, reasons of difference,well known affair about imperial envoy Qubitu and his significant effects in battles of conquering Tibet.The epilogue concludes the relationship between Oirad, Tibet and Qing dynasty,breakthrough,shortages of the theme.
