A Study On The Language Of Turfan Manuscripts

Turfan Manuscripts refers to ancient writing literature unearthed from Turfan area.For nearly a century,the reach of Turfan Manuscripts has yielded fruitful results.Turfan studies has become an international famous learning to be on a par with Dunhuang studies.But the study of the language of Turfan Manuscripts has not received the attention it deserves,especially most of the Turfan Manuscripts are civilian appliance documents.The value of its language is not only in a high degree of spoken language,but also show the features of application documents language that has fixed-style format and words.The study of language is the base of the other studies and the specificity of Turfan Manuscripts language make us in great necessary of carring on a comprehensive collation and study of the language.This study can provide a good base of other subjects study and also can promote Turfan Manuscripts own collation and study.This article investigates the language of Turfan Manuscripts from the angle of style,summaries format features of each application style and studies format words,terminologies and saying words in each style.In chapterâ… ,Introduction,we briefly review the discovery of Turfan Manuscripts and point out the value of the study of the Turfan study based on the concrete usage from the manuscripts.In chapterâ…¡,we discuss the style features,characters features and words features of the manuscripts base itself on the Turfan Manuscripts.Then from chapterâ…¢to chapterâ…¦,from the angle of style,we divide the manuscripts into official document,contract document,account document,the lists of clothing and other articles,and letters,study every stylistic documents concentrated,summary format features and words features of each style and study format words and saying words in each style.At last is the Epilog.In this part,we summarize the discussion on the above and analyze the differences and similarities between each stylistic language in Turfan Manuscripts.
