Modern And Contemporary Chinese Fantasy Literature Study

The study of The Chinese modern fiction will try to collect and make arrangement of fantasy literature in modern and contemporary Chinese literature ,and proceed periodic summary of the creation situation in relation to this subject, as well as promote the theory inspect on this issue. Previous Fantasy literature research in China is subjected to the field of children's literature, lacking of consciousness of the creation fashion. This thesis will depend on the children's fantasy literature research achievements and western fantasy literary theories, reflect on the existing problems of the research methods about fantasy literature at present , and actively expand research scope, so as to censor the Chinese literary creation of fantasy in the new starting point.Introduction: mainly discusses the definition and value of fantasy literature and literary creation of overseas fantasy, draw an outline of the creation history and basic characteristics. One will focus on the creation of Japan and South Korea, which is an important way for China to introduce fantasy literature.The first chapter: firstly introduce fantasy literature research history in China which is mainly directed by Children's literator in the mainland China, and then analyse the local definition and classification of the concept. Classic Chinese literature has already have the element of fantasy literature, from the Classic of Mountains and Rivers to the god evil spirit novel of the Ming and qing dynasties, outlining the skeleton of the ancient fantasy literary. Chinese modern fantasy literature can be divided into three types :fable, myths, ZhiGuai. Through analyzing the specific works,conclude the basic characteristics in the embryonic stage of Chinese modern fiction.The second chapter: mainly discusses"the growth period of Chinese fiction"from 1980s to 1990s of Chinese literature. In the new period, Chinese roots and avant-garde writers are soundly affected by magical realism literature in Latin America and with stronger experimental style of writing made a breakthrough in tradition novel writing model. Then discuss the situation of China's fantasy literature in the rise and development.The third chapter: concentrates on the development of China's contemporary fiction after 2000 Firstly introduce the reaction of the Book Market ,the differentiation of writers and diversification of the illusion literary after China's drawing into overseas fiction. Based on what proposed above,this paper puts forward current problems China's fantasy literature facing now, and draw a simple outline to the development prospects. Conclusions, this thesis regards Chinese modern novel in which contains fantasy colour works as the research object, choosing relevant works, and making analysis according to part of the western fantasy literature research achievements which is comparable to the theory of Chinese writing. On this basis, try to determine reasonable concept of fantasy literature in China, investigate the internal classification and the function of this theme in the modern society, summarize the creation and research situation.
