Comparative Study On Fantastic Elements In Modern And Contemporary Chinese And Foreign Children's Fantasy Fiction

Along with the English authoress J. K. Rowling's books, Harry Potter fantasy series, have been published. There is a section of driving wave of fantasy fiction all over the world. And China is also involved in it inevitably. Many west fantasy fictions have been translated into Chinese and introduced into China mainland in recent years. Meanwhile, many original fantasy fictions have been produced in China, and there are many perfect writings thereinto. The appearance of these writings offered an important historical opportunity for developing the fancy of Chinese children lecture. But we can not ignore this kind of reality, that there has not been any globe influential writing in China when we postmortem the development of Chinese fantasy fiction in recent decades. The local fantasy fictions are absent treated by Chinese children so much as. During the study, I find that the Fantasy Element is the element which consists in the fantasy style actively, to push the development of the scenario, to give reader amazing and occult feeling. It includes fantasy race, magic, magic stuff, time space etc. The essential feature is real as well as visional. And how to select the fantasy element is not baseless. It roots in fairy story, religious literature, regional culture, current society and author's experience etc.By comparing, the text brings out the assumption that has the traditional elements in the local fantasy factions dug. Meanwhile, the text makes a perspective discussion on the feasibility which whether the producing of Chinese children fantasy faction can be globe-synchronized.
