This research work examines the dynamic nature and functioning system of political parties in two different continents of Asia and Africa, by figuring out the major ruling parties (Communist Party of China and People's Democratic Party of Nigeria). China, being the most populous country in the world and represents the major population of Asia as a continent on one hand, while on the other hand, Nigeria as the most populous black nation in the world and having the highest population of Africa. The paper also analyses the comparative functioning system of the two parties (CPC and PDP) in terms of History, manifesto, achievements and ideological stand, among other things. The paper is a result of scientific findings from both primary and secondary methodological order. The primary method instrumentalized the questionnaire technique based on non-probability-purposive or judgmental sampling, while the secondary method relied on literature materials from library collections such as journals, text books, periodicals, reports and others. Findings show that the two parties hold a virtually distinctive functioning system as well as ideological positions: the communist party of china has succeeded in transforming the Chinese political, economic, educational and socio-cultural values of the Chinese people in a manner favorable, and for the betterment of the lives of the citizenry. While in the other end, the PDP as a party in Nigeria, has succeeded in developing underdevelopment; created poverty; insecurity; and made the political, economic and educational spheres of the country dysfunctional. The paper concludes that the functioning system of the PDP is undemocratic and far away from achieving fundamental democratic goals. On the other hand, the CPC operates basically on a distinguished system of communism and ideology that suits the dynamic society of China. The paper recommends a critical transformation of the PDP, clear functioning system and adoption of democratic values. On the other hand, internal struggle in the side of the CPC would ensure and guarantee a permanent fruitful political development, among other things.
