Theory of Civil Society plays an important role in Marxist theory. This dissertation aims at sorting out the origin, main contents and the development of Marxist civil society theory to a range of issues, from which exploring its contribution to China Construction. Full-text includes the introduction and six text chapters, primarily as follows:Introduction part explains the origin of the article topics, domestic and foreign research status and current situation of the theoretical and practical significance, the main research methods applied, and the logic framework.The first chapter discloses the origin of Marxist theory of civil society. By reviewing the classical theory of civil society, the modern theory of civil society thinkers of the Civil Society, the author revealed the ideological foundation of the Marxist theory of civil society, and then distinguished the theory by showing the public the process of clarifying the logic of Marxist theory of revolutionary transformation of civil society's basic social background. The second chapter describes the definition of civil society in Marxism.The "civil society" has a double meaning under Marx's theoretical system. It descriptively means "bourgeois society", whereas analytically means "the sum of material exchanges", that is, civil society is the sum of four elements: production, ownership, division of labor, and exchange. In the face of various problems and contradictions in modern civil society, Marx carried out in-depth critique, however, this criticism is not easy, and it conflicts with Marx's study of bourgeois society constantly deepening, and gradually shifts from the philosophy of economics area.The third chapter involves Marxist theory of civil society on the relationship between civil society and state issues. This is an important issue under Marxist theory of civil society. Marx stated in detail the causes and consequences of dual differentiation in modern civil society and reached the civil society on the nation's conclusions with the criticism of Hegel's views of, the state decided by the public.The fourth chapter focuses on the people to overcome civil society to achieve the emancipation of mankind, which is a lifetime pursuit of the social ideal of Marxism. This ideal is in-depth critique of Marxism on the basis of civil society formation. Completion of the bourgeois revolution of political liberation realized the separation of civil society and state; however, it does not solve the problems of civil society, as well as the conflicts between civil society and the state. Consequently , we must transcend political liberation and human liberation. It is know of course that the liberation of mankind can not stay in the theory of inference, but be achieved through the proletarian movement of reality.Chapter V refers to contributions of the contemporary thinkers to the development of Marxist theory of civil society. Gramsci and Habermas , contemporary civil society theorists, following along the basic ideas of Marxist civil society theory, widen the research into a broader perspective of social theory for the construction of the public with the acknowledgement of the new changes of contemporary capitalist society in the way of conversion of the new research field of civil society in.Chapter VI analyzes the value of Marxist civil society theory on the construction of civil society in China. Market economy is the basis for the existence of civil society. China began to develop civil society after its economic reform goals established. With a profound social change in the conduct, the separation between state and society has increasingly seen, however, Chinese civil society is pretty different from that in western nations both in origin and social foundation, which necessarily leads to a special civil society with Chinese characteristics.
