Criticism Of New Institutional Economics' Theory Of Ideology And China's Ideological Security

As a kind of new political economy, through the'system'and'ideological'analysis, new institutional economics contributes to the field of economics on the intrusion of political science research and provides the observed angle of political phenomena. As an important part of the new institutional economics,the theory of ideology highlightes the economic function of ideology and provides guidance for the ideological construction of social transition countries. But under the perspective of new political economics the theoretical construction of new institutional economics'theory of ideology is still the ideology of capitalism.As a neo-liberalism, new institutional economics is itself a capitalist ideology.New institutional economics of comprehensive horizon emphasizes the judgment standard of theory as promoting economic development or not,which dilutes the class nature of ideology apparently and praises the capitalist ideology. New institutional economics is a kind of new political economics and that of neo-liberalism. New institutional economics'theory of ideology is constructed on theory of institution, transaction cost, property rights and state under the perspective of new political economics.As the self-consistent demand the theory of ideology is introduced.And by the revised theory of default,methodology of individualism and connotation, new institutional economics constructs a live system for ideology. Ideology security is important in our country. At present,there are many factors impacting the situation of China's ideological security which include the experience and lesson of maintaining the ideological security from the founding of New China ,the dramatic changes brought by globalization, networking and social transformation.There are many favorable conditions and threats among them. There are many multi-dimensional threats of new institutional economics'theory of ideology to China's ideological security.By taking Marxist theory of ideology as a guide to criticize the construction of new institutional economics'theory of ideology,the paper interpretates the theories of comparative ideologies and finds many problems of new institutional economics'theory of ideology. As new institutional economics is the typical embodiment of the fetishism,we should actively learn and apply western civilization including new institutional economics and should firmly take the socialist road with Chinese characteristics at the same time.There are some questions which need further thought ,for example how to recognize and deal with the relationship between the dominant position of public ownership and the maintenance of the basic system, and so on.
