The gist of the dissertation is, owing to capital accumulation taking the state as the mainstay for decades of long. Society has possessed huge state assets of industrialization. With the advancement of the refornr and opening-up, asocial diversity of capital accumulator came into being and has made considerable progress, and the income standards of the brood member of the society has notably risen. These social and historical conditions set demands on the change of the whole society mode of capital accumulation, the institution of a new mechanism of economic growth and the establishment of a new order of society and economy, and make them possible. The basic meaning of the change of capital accumulation mode is the change from taking labor accumulation as the principal source of social capital accumulation to taking property accumulation as the principal source of social capital accumulation. In accordance with the change process from labor accumulation to property accumulation, change also took place in economic growth of China from the phase of long-scale input forming industrialization assets to the phase of establishing the operational mechanism itself of industrialization assets, and in economic structure from unitaiy resource employment system to resource allocation system stressing economic returns and operational quality. Thorough historic change took place in social and economic base of economic growth, and a new model and road of economic growth is coming into being. This dissertation strives to follow the way of the integration of history with logic. Firstly, it historically analyzes and explains fifty years? economic growth and twenty years?reform and opening-up in China. Secondly, it makes use of conclusions from above to further explore some basic issues facing economic growth of China at present and in future and its emerging trends of development and change.
