Based on the criticism of Newton's paradigm of classic science determinism, complexity research is propelling the transformation on theory of knowledge, methodology and ethics in the fields of natural science, social science and human and literature science, therefore, complexity science is called science of the 21 st century.With the rapid development of complexity research, education itself is believed as a complexity being. And the development of education is a process of exchanging material, energy and information not only between subsystems within education but with the outside environment as well. The non-linear interaction between internal micro subsystems is the essential motivation for education development. Being the activity to educate people, what sort of people should education help to cultivate has become the crux of its evaluation and ultimate pursuit. It is the founamental objective for education to realize the meaning and value of human beings. So, the essence of education is equal to the essence of moral education, i.e. the existence of education is to improve the growth and development of human's virtue.In the past, people had argued a lot on the occurrence and development of the subject virtue. On the basis of complexity research, we'd like to view virtue as a complex system and do some further research from system angle. In this dissertation, for the first time, the essence of virtue is considered as negative entropy. This opinion comes from the perspective of relationship between social and individual system and the functions played by virtue in the two systems combined with the characteristics of virtue as dissipated. This is the foundation for the dissertation, and also scientific conclusion drawn by the author according to his knowledge about the latest findings on science. Based upon this, with the analysis of the dynamic structure of virtue, the author creatively puts forward his view on the internal structure of virtue as three inter-inlayed and inter-related subsystems (segments or sections), namely, discovering, choosing and acting. The interaction between these subsystems promotes the development of virtue regulation and regulation system, and is conducive to the accumulation of effective complexity. Therefore, virtue regulation, regulation system, and effective complexity are the symbols for the existence of negative entropy of virtue.The occurrence and development of virtue under the perspective of complexity perspective is a process of virtue emergence,"emerging as a whole"stays the core of complexity research > which is also the basic difference between complexity research and traditional scientific research paradigm. But how does virtue emerge? This question could be answered by analyzing the occurrence, development and evolution mechanism of virtue in micro dynamics system. From two angles of virtue namely self organization and selfadaptation, the question has been deeply analyzed, and research has been made on positive and negative feedback, competition, cooperation, attractor, strange attractor, revulsion and bifurcation. As a result by the means of genetic arithmetic, deep study has been made on the mechanism of virtue emergence and new breakthroughs in this field have been acquired.It is quite natural to inquire the essence of moral education from the essence of virtue, because the basic commission for moral education in school is to help bring about the virtue emergence of education subject. While the traditional moral education in school has been criticized, the complexity moral education has been constructed, which is able to offer direct direction for the practice of moral education in school by the combination of the model of complexity moral education. For moral education in school, discussions about intensifying the research and attention on chaos, carrying self education and the importance of self education have made the founamental views and significance of this dissertation extraordinary.
