This essay mainly deals with the Chinese security idea and the Chinese security market. And the difference between the two is that the former belongs to the concept of economic idea history while the latter is the content of economy history. Almost one hundred and sixty years have passed since the emergence of China's security market in the middle of 19th centaury, the change of which had close relationship with the political system, the economy, the military and the culture at that period. So in order to reflect the development of China's security market in the one hundred and sixty years both deeply and broadly, we must place the research under the particular economic background of China along with the other countries and give answers to the unique development of Chinese security from the origin of economy, political system and idea.For the above reasons, I make a concrete research by combining the history of economic idea and the history of economy and finance. It is one quality of my paper. The paper begins with the origin of Chinese security and argues whether China's security market is rooted from that of the west. A rope in series of history events from the early free capitalism idea to the revolutionary capitalism idea and to the socialism market idea arranges the paper.Based on it, the paper gives a detailed research on China's security market. In each chapter, I firstly analyze the social background in different period and then by combining security idea and history background, discuss the development of security market in each period and find out the rules of the security market .As to the experimental research, I mainly discuss the primary and secondary security market of China and highlight the important historical events. Anyway the purpose of the essay is to get something from the history. Both experiences and lessons from history tell us what we should know and what measure should be taken.
