This thesis studies, against the background of economic and social development, the quality structure, and growth pattern and education mode of enterprise founders, especially the founders of small enterprises. It is to probe into the law of enterprise education and provides theory for further education reform, enterprise founders cultivation and ensures that more founders make their contribution to the social and economic development, the creation of employment opportunity and the acceleration of research-appliance transfer and overall self-development.The subject is discussed in six aspects: Chapter One, the Introduction, expounds the significance of enterprise education study and the motivation of the writer's research, based on the view that starting undertakings promotes the development of economy, society and individual. Setting up undertakings is the impetus of economic development, the most effective and positive way to increase employment and the accelerator of research and technology appliance. Thus the success of enterprise setting-up is considered of highest embodiment of individual value. Therefore enterprise education is a realistic and initiative choice of education institute to adapt to the needs of social and economic development.Chapter Two, the Basic Theory of Enterprise Education, clarifies the basic concepts of enterprise setting-up and enterprise education, summarizes the nature of enterprise education and expounds the role that enterprise education plays in the development of society and individual. The writer contends that founding enterprise is a process involving opportunity discovery and capture, novel product or service creation and realization of its potential value. Enterprise education is to cultivate the enterprising quality of the trainees and to improve their enterprising ability. In short, enterprise education is an education activity that fosters enterprise founders.Chapter Three explores the development track of enterpriseeducation in China, traces its history in other countries and induces the developing law of enterprise education and its inevitability.Chapter Four, The Enterprise Founder, expounds the quality-structures and surroundings that the founders need on the basis of the scientific definition of enterprise founder. The writer defines founders as people who start an undertaking on their own. They not only pursue wealth and try to achieve individual value, but also create wealth for society and absorb labor force, as well as making positive contribution to the development of national economy and society. Enterprise education is an education activity to foster founders, which is the soul of education and should run through the course of education.Chapter Five, Construction of Enterprise Education Pattern, the writer proposes, on the basis of induction and explanation of practical pattern of Chinese enterprise education, that a pattern group be established, including high education pattern-running-through pattern, basic education field-penetration pattern, professional education field-combination pattern and adult education field-radiation pattern. Each pattern and the relationship among them are explained in detail.Chapter Six: Social Support for Enterprise setting-up. The success of enterprise education is not only related to education department, but also needs extensive support from the public, society and government, in the forms of policies, capitals, laws, regulations and public opinions. This chapter expounds the great significance and the main aspects of surrounding construction.There are three innovations of the thesis:The first lies in the approach of the research. In light of the close and immediate relationship between enterprise education and economy and society, the writer combines the educational research with economic and social study and therefore avoids the old approach to education research.
