On The Main Theme Of China's Industrialization

1. Purpose and Sense of this PaperBeginning at the end of 19 century, Chinese industrialization has more than 100 years history. Having more than 100 years' development, the research of Chinese industrialization developed from simple to thorough, from scattered to systemic, and acted an unreplaceable role in the practice of Chinese industrialization. Nowadays, the Chinese industrialization has developed to new type industrialization and informalization. Reviewing the history of the Chinese Industrialization in the past one century, reconsidering the Chinese industrialization in a higher level becomes an unavertable historical task and an essential issue to China.In this paper, the author considered the main problems existing in the research of Chinese industrialization are following:a. Focusing on the research of technology as well as ignoring the research of the relations among regulations in industrialization; andb. Emphasizing the effect of matter and technology to industrialization as well as ignoring the effect of laborers.Reviewing the history of Chinese industrial in the past one century, referencing the existing theories of industrialization, the author abstracted two concepts of Chinese industrialization, principal and theme. The author thinks that the principal of Chinese industrialization is the allied laborers and public ownership economy and the theme of Chinese industrialization is improving the ability of laborers and optimizing the industrial structure.2. Research Methods of this PaperAs the transition from the ever most advanced agricultural civilization to industrial civilization, the Chinese industrialization exercised very hard course caused by the historical misunderstanding and disturbing and limitation from polity and culture. So, methods are very important to the researching, reviewing, summing and abstracting of the Chinese industrialization history.The main research methods of this paper are consolidating ofprinciple, principal part and theme; consolidating of logic and history and nonobjective and demonstrative analysis.3. Outline of this PaperThere are five charpters in this paper.Charpter one is preface. In this part, basing the summary of the foreign and domestic research of the concept of industrialization, the author defined the industrialization from aspects of connotation and extension. As well as, the author differentiated the industrialization and relative concepts. Furthermore, the author reviewed the research of Chinese industrialization and explained the theoretic sense and research methods of this paper.In charpter two, author discussed socialism, the principle of Chinese industrialization. After discussing the particularity of Chinese history and reviewing the history and theory of capitalistic industrialization, the author pinpointed the principle of Chinese industrialization should be socialism.Author discussed the principal part of Chinese industrialization in charpter three. That is combination of labor and public ownership economy. The essential difference of socialism to capitalism is the principle of socialism is labor rather then capital. The cooperation of industrial production requires the combination of labor. This kind of combination materializes public ownership in China. The form of public ownership in China includes cooperative enterprises, state owned enterprises and joint-stock enterprises. The essential guarantee of Chinese industrialization is insisting on public ownership.In charpter four, author discussed the principle of Chinese industrialization, improving the qualities of labor and optimizing industrial structure. The qualities of labor, the drive of industrialization, include three types. They are physical ability, skill ability and educational quality. Furthermore, the author put forward the paths of improving labor qualities based the classifying of labor qualities.
