Study On Saving Behavior Of Rural Residents In China

With China's marketing modernization, saving which is balance to consume and source to the investment is given more attention due to the action on economy. The level of consume and the mood of rural residents has changed gravely from the renovation of economy, consequently, the saving economic behavior has conversed for the variance of regime and system which related to rural residents. Thus the study on saving behavior of rural residents should be scanned and considered newly. The paper analyzed the saving behavior of rural residents to search the related factors and the rule of saving behavior in order to optimizing the behavior and provide the suggestion on micro management.In this thesis, the saving behavior of rural residents is analyzed theoretically and empirically by the method of behavior, compare, system and computation. According to the behavior study path, the analysis is outspread from three aspects, which are the behavior of saving, the subjective factors and external factors. The same time, each aspect is summarized its character. Finally, the value of rationality is given.The main conclusion is that (1) the variance of system and regime has imposed of the change of saving behavior of rural residents; (2) the saving behavior of rural residents has formed its own character; (3) the income is the most important factor which affected the saving behavior of rural residents and the system factors and (4) the saving behavior has its rational part and its shortage.Consequently, in order to optimizing the saving behavior and harmonizing the economy development, it is essential that (1) to perfect the price system of farm produce in order to improve the level of income of rural residents; (2) to safeguard the right of land and social security to reduce the uncertain anticipation; and (3) to reconstruct China's agricultural credit system to release the restriction of fluidity.The main innovation points in this thesis are as the following. The analysis framework of saving behavior of rural residents has been put up. The inferior factor of saving behavior has been reviewed through the investment on rural residents of 12 counties. The main exterior factors that affect the saving behavior demand have been found by the empirical analysis and econometrics method. The outline of the saving behavior of rural residents has been described.The rationality of saving behavior has been given combining the condition of economy.
