Seeing from current situation of Chinese hotel industry, the international competition ability is extremely not strong. The main problem appears: The quantity of the state-owned hotel is numerous, the benefits are not good with the situation of the serious structure surplus; The obstacle of the private-owned hotel is much more on its progress; the development of the domestic Holiday-style hotel result in the resources serious waste; The organizational structure seriously hold back the development of the hotel; The current time-sharing management does not conform to the standard; The development of hotel is out of control, the hotel star-level structure is not reasonable; In the developing process of the green hotel in our country exists some serious misunderstandings; the structure of monopolized administration based on every administrative levels is not fit for the development of the hotel, The domestic hotel runs blindly along with the pressure from the hotel abroad increasing steadily. However, when joining the WTO, with the increasing popularity of the tourism, the Chinese hotel industry also have developing opportunity in the frame of the total agreement of the service-trade. For the sake of making better use of the resource abroad, increasing the domestic hotel's statue in the international market, forming the management mechanism of hotel of Chinese characteristic, it is very necessary to research the international competition ability of Chinese hotel.The paper is on the base of providing more theoretical for hotel in the promotion of international competition ability, making the investment of hotel more scientific, making the hotel have the ability of making the early warning analysis in time and taking preventive measures, satisfying the demand of hotel in "mechanism creative, educating the talent, maliciously grasping the quality, brand development, characteristic management, enhancing the management, network development, increasing budget etc."In this paper we join together with the practice of promoting international competition ability in recent years on the foundation of summarizing the formers' research, analyze the problem of promoting international competition ability, inquiry into its importance and possibility of Chinese hotel promoting the international competition ability, research and analysize the influencing factors of the international competitiveness, establish the appraisable index system of the international competitiveness of the hotel in view of above, furtherly , set up the appraisable model of the international hotel competitiveness by which to analysize it quantitatively , put the international hotel competitiveness in order, and analysize its strengthness and weakness .Basing on these above ,we confirm the principle of how to improve the international competitiveness we should conform to ,that is, appraising the hotel's developing potentialities, selecting the right area .confirming the investment property and marketing localization, selecting and training the staff, the way accessing the market .On the basis of these, we propose thesuggestion of how to improving our international competitive advantages .including carrying out the informational management, building the international competitive envirment of the hotel .operating the hotel across the world in the cooperative-competitive way, creating the international competitive advantages and optimizing the hotel's construction ,etc. That's to perfect the operating envirment outside. On the interal side, we can carry out the differential operating tactics on the hotels for holidays, concentrating operation around human resource and matching operation tactics according to the level of the hotel. Furtherly, we put "focusing Asia-Pacific region, regarding promoting the international competition ability as the target, featuring Chinese characteristic in culture and ending up with establishing the international hotel chain group in the scope of world." as our final struggling target.
