The equilibrium of social supply and demand is the main performance of the summarized balance of National Economic Accounting. The situation of social economic development may be reflected from the equilibrium of social supply and demand. For the macro-economic adjustment, it is important to study the balancing relationship between the entire supply and demand by quantitative and structural measure of National Economic Accounting.Supply and demand are two important variables for the social economic development. The direction and the pace of development of their change determine a crucial effect on the fundamental stance of social economic development. Moreover, the equilibrium mechanism of supply and demand controls the stability of social development in each aspect and promotes the continuous and stable development of National Economic Accounting. Therefore, the study of the equilibrium of statistical assessment plays an important role of supervision and macro-economic adjustment in social economic development.Macao is a Special Administrative Region of People Republic of China, it is a small city with small number of population and lacks of natural resource, but the density of population is relatively high. It belongs to a mini-opening economic system. The economic development in Macao depends strongly on the environmental factors. Its industrial structure is very special; gambling is the main industry, which is one of the three enormous gambling cities in the world. Because of its typical opening economy, the productivity of daily goods in Macao is nearly zero by use of its natural resource, all supply and demand are controlled by the external suppliers. Also, its main economic supports "gambling" belongs to the servicing export, of which the production and exhaustion spend at the same time, thus, most people think that the supply and demand of service are always keep their balance. The statistical research of the equilibrium of supply and demand has been neglected. There is no overall statistical research or empirical study at all, that causing the lack of systematical data record of all supply and demand of Macao, thus, researchers want to further discuss the related issuewithout any fundamental basis. This thesis is attempting to conduct the research of the economic development of Macao and its balancing issues of supply and demand through the combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, and the combination of theoretical and empirical research. By fitting the real situation of Macao, systematically, a theoretical analytical framework of the statistics, and a statistical methods which are easily operated and more scientific are set up, as well as the macro-economic adjustment of the balancing issues of supply and demand is being proceeded with its basis. The paper is consisted of six chapters in four parts, which are arranged in sequence of the economic development of Macao, the crucial role of the equilibrium of supply and demand in the economic development of Macao, statistical research of the equilibrium of supply and demand in Macao, as well as macro-economic adjustment's means. The second part links the economic development and statistical research of the equilibrium of supply and demand in Macao, and hence the study of parts three and four are then introduced. The first chapter concerns the foundation of economic development and a brief introduction of the condition of its natural resource. For the purpose of demonstrating the contour of Macao's economic development and its natural resource, this chapter briefly describes the natural resource of Macao, a brief history of Macao's economic development and its industrial structure. The second chapter contains the situation of the economic development of Macao and its inducing factors analysis. This chapter further discusses the present situation and module of economic development, industrial structure, and the constructive factors of economic development of Macao are also described. It is important to introduce the special constructive...
