Contemporary Japanese Socialist Thought

Contemporary socialist thought in Japan is the issue that the I have been focusing on for many years in my teaching and researching career in the Central Party School. The development and of socialism and capitalism have been researched for more than 100 years. The rise and development of socialism is colorful. Socialist thought has become mainstream after the World War II along with capitalist thought. Socialism has been widespread all over the world. China is a socialist country. Chinese communist party is the ruling party. Therefore, it is of great meaning to research the origin, development and it experience of socialism. The aim of this research is to pursue better future of human being. The author believes that socialism will eventually overcome capitalism. Chinese will definitely go along socialist road. Comrade Jiang Zemin said: "Our world is rich and colorful. The diversity of civilizations is the basic feature of human society and also the driving force behind the progress of human civilization. Respect should be given to the history, culture, social system and mode of development of each individual country. Diversity of the world is a reality that should be recognized. Different civilizations and social systems should enjoy long-term coexistence and draw upon and benefit from each other in the process of competition and comparison and achieve common development while seeking common ground and shelving differences. We will continue to work with the people of all countries for a world of lasting peace and universal prosperity." Japan closes to China geologically. China and Japan began their cultural exchange more than 2000 years ago. Japan is also the only advanced capitalist country in Asia. Marxism and socialism have played an important role in Japan's development. It is undeniable. The author want to introduce these kinds of information to the scholars and readers in China based on my own search on socialism in Japan. The article consists of seven parts, those are: forward, main body and conclusion. Forward : introduce the significance and aim of the research, what have been done on relevant research, the methods adopted in the research and the main contents and structure of this article. Chapter 1: introduce the adoption, development of Marxism in Japan and its influence and significance. Chapter 2: introduce the rise, development and influence of socialist thought in Japan after the world war II and the change of Japan's international status. its economy, politics, history and foreign affairs are quite advanced. Chapter 3: socialist thought in Japan in its fast development period. This is the key contents of the article, it details the theoretical development of Japan's communist party, social party and the consequences. policy of the communist party and the social party in Japan, tracing the origin and development of the Japan's socialist thought. Chapter 4: The development of socialist thought on Japan and the change of Japan's politics and its foreign policy after 1989. Chapter 5: challenge on Japan's socialist thought. The influence of world wide socialist movement on Japan. Concluding: this part is the summary to the article, it is also the general judgment on socialist thought in Japan.
