A New Stage Of China's Economic Development Strategy To Adjust

Economic development strategy is an exogenous variable, which can be chosen by government. Whether choice of the economic development strategy accords with objective law is a key factor which decides whether a country's economic development succeed or not, whether a country is winning or not in international economic competition. At present, China is the middle stage of industrialization, how to design economic development strategy is an important theory problem and practical problem that China must study hard in quick development and international competition. Around the topic of economy development, the thesis concisely introduced the background, meaning and internal and external present conditions of study research of this text to the point. On the basis of the large quantity material analyzed detailedly, made judgment of main problem, contradiction and challenge existing in China's economic development at new stage, then systematically analyzed reasons, which result in these problems, contradictions. Then expounded six problems of important theoretic understand which influence overall situation of economic development, and combined with China's fact, puts forward the countermeasure of adjustment of economic development strategy from picture of the whole. Finally, put forward five basic requests, which must be abided by establishment, adjustment or enforcement of economic development strategy. The thesis took Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping's Theory, the importance thought of Three Represents and the view of scientific development as guides, regarded economics theories as foundation, through collection, analysis and synthesis of internal and external main theory standpoint and history data, from the whole made it study adjustment of China's economic development strategy in new stage, had formed research results which has some creative, foresight and maneuverability. (1) About judgment of main problem, contradiction and challenge existing in China's economic development. This text generalized some superficial problem inside of China's economic development process as five aspects, namely the structure of demand is immoderate, the structure of product is immoderate, the development between city and country is immoderate, and the gap of development is widening continually, and the whole of economic efficiency is not high; Generalized choice which is on the horns of a dilemma and contradiction as quantity of economic growth is incompatible with high speed growth of economy, promoting human being's all-round development is incompatible with high input, keeping economic stability and safety is incompatible with deepening reform and opening up; Generalized the outside challenge being faced with in China's process of economic development as challenge of economic globalization, challenge of developed country's swift and violent advance in science and technique and challenge of China′s low-priced labor force——comparative advantage. (2)About analysis of reason that caused main problem and contradiction. The reason mainly is that there is some one-sidedness in theoretic understand, economic system and economic development strategy and its economic policy. Firstly, in the theoretic understand, took Soviet Union's mode as the sample of science socialism in initial stage of new China's established, could not level-headedly regard the condition which planned economy brought into effect needs, regarded the successful practice of planned economy in specified condition as guiding principle of long-term development. Equaled the socialism superiority to high speed of economic growth, simplysaw development as economic growth, unilaterally pursued enlargement of amount of the total production value and GDP and high speed of its growth.
