This article aimed at providing beneficial support to draw up a new domestic law andconvention, as well, on international multi-model transportation by analyzing the legalaspects of contractual relationships among the parties involved and pursuing theoreticalbases and causes. In order to fulfil the research purposes above-mentioned, this articlewas composed of six parts:1. defining the content of international multi-model transportation in both business andlegal perspectives;2. recalling and comparing the two models, that is, model laws andtreaties in the past legislation while focusing on the 1980 UN Convention;3. arguinglegal features and aspects of contractual parties relationships;4. providing evidence todemonstrate the legal features of the relationships among the parties involved;5.summing up what featured the multi-model transportation B/L and pointing out theadvantages and limits of it;6. analyzing various demands among all the parties involvedand drawing attention to the conflict situation among different laws and laws of differentlevels and making suggestions on the future domestic laws and finally commenting onthe content and process of the draft instrument on transport law by UNCITRAL.
