The Relationship Pattern Of Northeast Asia And The Construction Of China's Strategy

After the Cold War, the relationship among great powers enters a stage of in-depth adjustment. International forces have experienced the process of division and reorganization and the world pattern has undergone and will undergo profound changes. Northeast Asia,as the point where Eastern and Western forces met during the Cold War, is reconstructing its relation pattern which not only affects countries within this region, but also seriously influences the world pattern. Under the big context of rapid scientific and technological development, economic globalization, regionalization, political multi-polarization and cultural diversification, China faces great historical opportunities and challenges in achieving the great revitalization of the Chinese nation. The overall environment of Northeast Asia that China faces is stable, but there are also potential crises. China must take active measures, exert influences, establish the image of a responsible big nation, attempt to break through the bottleneck of various contradictions with new perspectives and great wisdom, focus its efforts on establishing a new-type international relations featuring peaceful coexistence, equal consultation, mutual-beneficial cooperation and regional win-win arrangements, and aim at long-term development of integration. The author of this paper believes that we should, from the perspective of long-term interests, stress international cooperation, take into consideration the social attributes and initiative of the behavioral agent and call for the fusion between the humanistic spirit and scientific consciousness, so as to achieve the organic integration of the goal system with the implementation system and the unification of means and ends. This can not only help achieve long-term optimization of the external environment, but also be good for promoting China's own reforms.
