Northeast Asia has a complex geographical position, which is not only the intersection of strategic interests of great powers, but also the focus of competition among great powers, among which the strategic competition centered on the Korean Peninsula is the most obvious and intense.Since the Cold War,Northeast Asia has been the front line of confrontation between the two camps, and the confrontation is most obvious in Northeast Asia. After the Cold War,there are many "sequelae" in Northeast Asia.It is an unstable zone with frequent regional hot issues and also a region where the interests of major powers may conflict. The relations between countries in Northeast Asia are complex and the bilateral and multilateral relations involved play a vital role in the regional security situation. At present, the safety of the northeast Asian region structure there is a phenomenon of coexistence of two systems is a kind of the United States, dominated by America and Japan,South Korea bilateral alliance system, claims based on the alliance system, build system of security cooperation, including the allied powers, the other is a Chinese advocated,Russia agreed system of multilateral cooperation in east Asia, argues that all the sides are equal. The compatibility and coexistence of the two systems has become a rational choice for countries in Northeast Asia to play games.Among them, the bilateral alliance relationship advocated by the United States tends to exclude common interests. However,it is obvious that there are abundant common interests in Northeast Asia, especially on the Korean nuclear issue, which is of vital importance to regional peace and security.Meanwhile, the common interests including non-traditional security cooperation cannot be ignored.Since entering the new era,the situation in Northeast Asia has shown a trend of stable development and contradiction alternately.Safeguarding and expanding common interests is of great significance to promoting peace, stability, development and prosperity in Northeast Asia.As a relatively stable bilateral relationship in Northeast Asia,China-South Korea relationship plays a vital role in maintaining peace and stability of the Peninsula and Northeast Asia.Since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and the ROK in 1992,the two countries have gradually got rid of the state of being only limited by Korean Peninsula affairs. The bilateral substantive cooperation has become more and more frequent, and the depth and breadth of the cooperation have also been expanding year by year. The bilateral relations have begun to develop towards the direction of regional prosperity, peace and stability. The summit talks, economic, cultural and social exchanges between the two countries have injected more lasting impetus into the cooperation in Northeast Asia. The ever-deepening China-South Korea relationship is not only conducive to the peaceful settlement of the security issues on the Korean Peninsula, but also provides the necessary cognitive foundation for the construction of the Northeast Asian Community, and promotes the long-term stability and development of Northeast Asia.China-rok relations between the two countries from the cold war to today’ s change after the twists and turns of development,China and South Korea is constantly trying to overcome barriers improve consensus on both sides of the hard-won results, though China and South Korea are still faced with many challenges, such as "cold war" residual factors, historical and cultural entanglement between the two countries and the paradox of social development, the national feelings of the fall,Especially with the rise of China’ s economic development and the"China threat theory" advocated by some great powers,South Korea has been afraid of and guarded against China. All these have seriously affected the political mutual trust between China and South Korea and increased the difficulty in the strategic cooperation between the two countries. However, from the perspective of long-term development, the stability of China-South Korea relations plays an important role in regional peace, prosperity and development, and in preventing some hegemons from disrupting the regional situation. |
