Analysis On International Non-Governmental Organizations' Role

During the recent years, with the increase of International Non-governmental Organizations' (INGOs) number and the enlarging of INGOs' size, INGOs' activities are more active than ever before in international relations' domain. People's attention now focuses on the role of INGOs in international relations. During the global era the independence of international regimes are more evident and INGOs participate in the development of international regimes more and more. INGOs set up the correlation between the internationalized network and international regimes and he system framework thus formed provides new options and possibilities to solve a series of global problems. Therefore, this dissertation first discusses the development of international regimes, then further analyzes the functions of INGOs in the development of international regimes during the global era. In this way, this dissertation aims at orientating the role of International Non-governmental Organizations.This dissertation is divided into two parts and six chapters.The introduction is mainly concerned with the jumping-off point of this dissertation as well as the research status in quo domestic and abroad and sections & structure of the dissertation.The first part is made up of chapter I and chapter II. The two chapters give a thorough analysis of international regimes' theory and earthly development and discuss the relationship between international regimes and International Non-governmental Organizations. The first chapter mainly concerns international regimes' extension and connotation, the basic conditions of international regimes' coming into being and development, international regimes' independence and function embodiment so as to shed light on the importance of international regimes. The second chapter mainly concerns the background and features of international regimes' coming into being and development during the era of sovereignty principle and during the global era first, emphasizing particularly on the influence of globalization on international politics and the new development of international regimes thus brought about.
