Study On Markovi(?)'s Democratic Thought

Modern democratic dilemma originates from the alienation between democratic ideal and democratic institutions. It will inevitably lead to a conflict between institutions and the ideal of real democracy that limitting democracy in institutions and procedures and ignoreing the training of citizen and the construction of civil society. Improving the effective democratic system can guarantee the realization of justice, and the maturity and development of individual and civil society are the indispensable premise of democratic institutions. To construct autonomous society as the public domain is the main content of socialist democratic movement. It might creat the conditions for generalized development opposing political totalitarian, economical exploitation and the cultural hegemony. The philosophical thought about modern democratic dilemma pointed out by Markovic who is the famous phiolsophier of the Praxis group in former Yugoslavia has important value. Proceeding from the philosophy of praxis, Markovic tries to eliminate this alienation by his democratic theory including individual praxis, democratic institutions and social self-government. All his work enriches the development of democratic theories. From Markovic,praxis is the character of mature citizen individual,democracy is self-government based on constructing the man and the society of praxis, and it can overcome the malpracitce of pragmatic philosophy and positivism politics via philosophical politics and morality philosophy. His democratic political philosophy reveals us that it is the important task in democratic political practice of modern society that fostering pople's moral consciouses and praxis capability, making the real development of social democracy and improving the civil society further. The task of developing democratic politics is not only to construct the institutions and rules, but also to make human's all-around development. It is based only on the development of civil culture, can democracy release the strain between institutions and the development of the people.Politics and ethics should be unified in the philosophy of praxis. The philosophy of praxis doesn't observe social political order from abstract human nature and it insists that the human grow up in the society and active practice. The essence of democratic politics is to build up the real ethic relaitionship in people's daily lives. This relaitionship can balance diverse profits and offer the possibility for people's creativity. These capabilities and ethics relationship might be nurtured and developed in civil society and they will support the democratic institutions in turn.
