Among these, the long-term knowledge-centered teaching methods should mainly be to blame for the problems, which stresses on passing on knowledge rather than detailing the design and the object of teaching. The characteristics of this method are not concentrating on inspiring college students to ponder on their world views, philosophies, and senses of worth, letting alone paying attention to regular pattern of knowledge's transforming to moral characteristics. The judgment of the effectiveness in teaching is not based on teaching objects.Therefore, to improve the effectiveness of the teaching of the ideological and political theory course, we should turn knowledge-centered teaching methods into teaching approaches which emphasize on cultivating students'capacity of applying Marxism Theory to guide their beliefs and behaviors and thus promote their comprehensive moral and virtue development. In this way, we can not only stress on the radical purpose-systematically passing on Marxism Theory to college students by the course, but can also meet the need of initial demand in cultivating their comprehensive moral and virtue development.
