As the development of China's tertiary education, undergraduates'physical education becomes one concern. Traditional teaching mode is not capable for innovation of physical education. Innovation of deepening education advances overall quality of education. Under the principle of "Heart first" and "Man as a core", the focus of physical education goes further from students' current progress to future development. The innovative physical education does not only concern students'skills and technique of sports, but also the concept of lifelong exercise by the cultivation students'exercise habit. Students are expected to do exercise spontaneously under any circumstance, and serve for China, which is the new requirement of elite cultivation.Doing exercise becomes a crucial role in undergraduates' physical and mental health. Research on undergraduates'sports training is the demand of age and society for undergraduates' development in every field. In addition, the research investigates how students shape the concept of lifelong exercise habit and sports training. However, this kind of research of Macao and Hong Kong regions is completely blank in China. In order to fill the blank, this study focuses on Macao and Hong Kong undergraduates'sports training, characteristics on different phases, and influential factors. Furthermore, suggestion and advices aim at the progress of diverse students'participation and insistence of sports training, and reference for better tertiary physical education on students' sports training are presented in this report. It is expected to be substantially helpful for the innovation of tertiary physical education. This study investigated Macao and Hong Kong undergraduates' characteristics of sports training and the relationship of self-efficiency sports training with examples on the base of cross-theories model. Research Conclusion1.Proportion of Macao and Hong Kong undergraduates with sports behavior is 48%, whi/h is high. However, there is 14.1% of undergraduates who have no willing on sports training.2. On the "phase of behavior", the discrepancy between male and female is significant in terms of who keep thirty minutes training three times a week. The result shows that there is gender difference in exercise behavior, which males are more likely to participate training than females.3. The top five concerns for whether undergraduates'training participation are:to expect having good result in competition; to meet friends and socialize; to be healthy; to be strong physically and mentally; to decompress. Above mentioned factors show the diverse reason of Macao and Hong Kong undergraduates'training participat ion4. The mean discrepancy of undergraduates'self-efficiency on different phases is remarkable. Undergraduates who are on the phase of preservation result the highest self-efficiency score while on the phase of intention result the lowest score. The score of self-efficiency increases as the training phase moves forward. However, the score may goes up at the phase of intention because self-efficiency may increase when a person makes decision on behavior change. This rise of self-efficiency may occur between intention phase and behavior phase depending on the individual involves.5. The model of this study well explains the factors of undergraduates'exercise self-efficiency and both direct and indirect effects of undergraduates'exercise self-efficiency on exercise behavior.
