At present, science curriculum reform is carried out actively and hopefully but the practical effect is not very satisfied. We should try our best to push toward the science curriculum reform and we also have to summarize and reconsider its practical effect and resolve the new problems in the process of reform. Under the summary and reconsideration about the science curriculum reform, this dissertation is trying to put forward a tentative plan of constructing science curriculum which based on humanistic concern, hoping adding some useful information for the practice of science curriculum reform in China.There are five chapters in all:The first chapter is introduction. It includes the origin and meaning of the research, literature review, definition of core concepts, the perspective and the main problems of the research, thoughts and methods and the structure of the dissertation.The second chapter is the situational examination about humanistic concern in the development of science curriculum. This part is the logical starting point of the dissertation and it mainly answer the questions whether humanistic concern exists in the development of science curriculum and is it necessary for the development of science curriculum. That is to say, this part is to prove the necessity of construction the science curriculum based on humanistic concern. Modern science curriculum original from Renaissance humanist movement. It is safe to say that the discovery of "human" leads to the birth of modern science curriculum. Afterwards, the science curriculum developed step by step in the practice. After the mid-19th century, the science research empirical method penetrates into the science curriculum and its research because of the strong influence of science. It leads to the colorless of humanistic concern in the development of science curriculum. However, since the latter half of the 20th century, western science curriculum has experienced the climax of three developments, this haze was gradually dissipated. Nowadays, focusing on human is the general trend of the development of science curriculum. Companying with modern science's transplanting from western, our modern science curriculum shows a kind of obvious utilitarian. It mainly focuses on the level of objects and it is lack of sufficient attention on deep science spirit and science culture accomplishment. What's more, this situation hasn't been rectified in the latter development and it makes the situation worse. How to reverse this situation fundamentally? The practice of western shows the direction of the reform and development for our science curriculum.The third chapter introduces the theory basis of construction of science curriculum based on humanistic concern. This dissertation indicates that the theory basis of construction of science curriculum based on humanistic concern should be discussed according to the level of philosophy. The development of scientific philosophy is always one of the most important effects of science curriculum reform. And recently, scientific philosophy's "cultural turn" has been a huge impact to the previous science curriculum system. The "cultural turn" of scientific philosophy expands the scope of science curriculum's theory research. It makes possible for us to think about the science curriculum in the view of scientific philosophy and cultural philosophy. Science curriculum shouldn't only pay attention on the teaching of science knowledge. It also has to highlight the the human who produce the science knowledge and the science attitude and spirit from them.Another task of science curriculum is making the history and humanity effect joins in the teaching and learning. From doing so, the student could learn how to understand science from the view of culture and also know how to comprehend culture in a scientific way. It is good for students'active emotional attitude and correct values.Besides, Sutton scientific history is meaningful for our constructing science curriculum based on humanistic concern. Guided by Sutton scientific history, this dissertation is trying to show that science exists for human's needs. In the whole process of scientific development, the effect "human" always works and it plays a very important role as well. Thus it can be seen that scientific development can not do without humanistic concern. Science curriculum, which is its knowledge carrier, also needs humanistic concern. Therefore, it becomes another important theory foundation of our constructing science curriculum based on humanistic concern.The fourth chapter mainly states the basic idea of science curriculum which is based on humanistic concern. Only if the innovation of idea could bring about the innovation of institution and behavior. The science curriculum based on humanistic concern is very different from the traditional one in the way of teaching strategies and methods. However, the biggest difference should be found out in a deeper lever. That is to say, there is an essential distinguish between its educational idea and the traditional educational idea. What is the basic idea of science curriculum based on humanistic concern? This dissertation considers that the core idea is focusing on human. According to the comparison between Chinese culture and Western culture, it is clear that Chinese people are lack of their own particular characteristics. As the influence of the utilitarian recently, our individual needs and spirit growth are always being ignored. In the view of this, fostering the human with particular characteristic should become the ultimate pursuit of science curriculum. Scientific literacy is one of the most necessary literacy for modern people and it is also an important standard of a country's scientific educational quality. But the level of our students'scientific literacy is staying behind other developed countries'. So improving the student's scientific literacy should become one practical aim of our science curriculum.The science curriculum based on humanistic concern is a new scientific curriculum view of combination of scientific culture and humanistic culture. Using the scientific curriculum as the carrier, it is necessary and feasible to fuse the scientific culture and humanistic culture. And then the combination of these two kinds of spirit (the scientific spirit and the humanistic spirit) would come true. It is very useful for changing the underdevelopment situation of our scientific spirit.The fifth chapter is mainly introduces the implementation strategies of science curriculum based on humanistic concern. Curriculum implementation is the process of making the curriculum idea into practice and it is a key part leading to the success of curriculum reform. The implementation strategies of curriculum implementation are multiple. Based on different curriculum ideas, people could construct different scientific curriculum and also could realize it in different strategies and methods. It is very promising for our teaching in the respect of showing humanistic emotion if we started from the history of science, the material of facing the real world and the beauty of science.
