Science education is an significant part of middle school education.Generally speaking,it undertakes the responsibility of spreading scientific knowledge,scientific skills and scientific humanistic spirit.However, examination-oriented education is also running in China. Science teachers pay much attention to instructing students to improve performance but ignore their own major development. Students spend lots of time doing exercises but ignore the discovery of their own scientific inclination and spirit. Science textbooks generally introduce scientific concept and law objectively but ignore fostering students’consciousness of problems and scientific thinking ability. As a result, the academic performance of science becomes the instrument to select pupils or evaluate teachers.lt is the so-called instrumentalism,by contrast with which, humanists pay attention to the realization of a person’s all around values and the acquirement of one’s subject consciousness so they come up with problems on today’s science educaion.What is humanistic concern?How can humanistic concern permeate through science education?What values can humanistic concern bring to students’learning science?This thesis talks about how the humanistic care can permeate through three aspects,including teachers’professional development,students’learning science and science textbooks’compiling.In this research,the methods of literature research and case study are used.Meanwhile,the thesis is made largely by means of qualitative approach,quantitative approach assisted.The research explores the meaning of adding humanistic concern to the professional development of science teachers,shows us access to giving students humanistic care while science learning and confirms the necessity and effectiveness of humanistic concern’s permeating through the compiling of science textbooks.Above all,this thesis serve us some theoretical and practical support of appointing humanistic concern as the new logical starting point of science education.Here are the major tasks and conclusions this thesis brings to the readers.Firstly,by means of literature research and statistics analysis,we find that it is good way to encourage teachers to do some academic research through cultural institution and strengthen their sense of identity by material care,which plays an important role in letting humanistic concern permeate through teachers professional development.All the measures taken above can do good to the teachers’deeper research and the transmission of humanistic concern from teachers to students.Secondly,considering the author’s own experience of educational practice, the thesis concludes permeating humanistic care to students’science learning is full of practical significance,includingThirdly,by analysing the chapters’titling in science textbooks of Zhejiang Education Edition, we come to the conclusion that permeating humanistic concern plays an important role in igniting the consciousness of questioning, improving the students’ science literacy and gaining life education.
