Due to hearing loss, visual information is the major channels to obtain information to the hearing impairment students. From a realistic point of view, the current language teaching situation is not optimistic in deaf school. Compared with no-hearing impairment students, it is necessary improve reading comprehension abilityIn the field of reading comprehension in hearing-impaired students, the domestic and foreign research mostly focus on speech coding and reading of the relationship, but less on the reading comprehension study. In the field of hearing-impaired reading research, we can not find the system research on the comprehension monitoring ability.According to the comprehension monitoring research in learning disabilities study, reading comprehension achievement is related to the ability of comprehension monitoring, and when we train them metacognitive monitoring skill, their performance can be improved significantly. Under this background, an error detection paradigm and an eye-movement recordings method were used in the samples of hearing impairment students and no-hearing impairment students to study the reading comprehension monitoring research. The initial part provides a research on the background. They are include the research of reading comprehension in hearing impairment students, monitoring research and the method of reading monitoring. The second part is the research framework. The third part is a series of5experimental research.Experiment1, research on the comprehension monitoring of hearing impairment students with coherence and incoherence article.Experiment2, research on the comprehension monitoring of hearing impairment students with passages that contained inconsistencies within a single sentence or across several sentences. Experiment3, research on the comprehension monitoring of hearing impairment students with passages that contained inconsistencies with different interval distance, eg. interval distance2sentences, interval distance4sentences, interval distance6sentences, and interval distance8sentences,Experiment4, research on the comprehension monitoring of hearing impairment students with passages that contained inconsistencies with different organization structure, eg inconsistencies in linear structure, inconsistencies in coordinate. structure, and inconsistencies in reticular structure.Experiment5, research on the comprehension monitoring of hearing impairment students with passages that contained inconsistencies with different guide, one is Inconsistent information presentation, and the other is not.The results showed:(1) There is significant difference between hearing impairment students and no-hearing impairment students in overall reading efficiency.(2)There is significant difference in comprehension monitoring in both confidence evaluation and eye-movement monitoring.(3) There is significant difference between hearing impairment students and no-hearing impairment students in regression count, regression time and regression point numbers.
