With the acceleration of global economic integration and the arrival of knowledge economy, the competition between enterprises are becoming keener day by day. In the face of such challenges and accompanying opportunities, enterprises should place emphasis on the training of qualified personnel and should try to become highly competitive in order to adapt to the new situation. If our enterprise is to be competitive, having a high-quality staff is critical; and this depends mainly on the continuing education in the enterprise. How can continuing education be adapted to a constantly-changing enterprise and market? The only answer is innovation - bringing forth new ideas.Innovation in enterprise is aided by innovation in educational resources and the essence of innovation is creativity - blazing new trails. Economic competition helps spur creativity. Innovation is the only way to resolve the contradictions between market and technology, technology and personnel as well as enterprise and continuing education. Therefore, the research into it is of both theoretical and practical significance. By means of researching into the history, the present situation, the trend as well as some typical cases of continuing education in enterprise, this dissertation will explain the innovation in educational activities, systems, mechanisms and concepts.The dissertation is divided into four parts:First,guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism, the author studies the history of innovation in enterprise continuing education to find out the ideological, economic, cultural and social foundation for it.Secondly, on the basis of analysis for the present situation in enterprise continuing education, the author brings forward some glaring problems and attempts to explain their root cause. The general trend of worldwide continuing education makes us sense the fierceness of the competition. What we should do is to seize the opportunity to changeeducation and blaze new trails.Thirdly, applying the pedagogy, phenomenology, category and systems analysis to the classification of complicated phenomena in enterprise continuing education, the author analyses and studies the elements of continuing education, trying to expose a mode for it.Fourthly, the author studies the typical cases of innovation for continuing education in China GZB Group Corporations and sums up some valuable experiences, trying to find out the basic law for state-owned enterprise continuing education.
