Communication is a basic way of human beings's existence and a needs of humam beings. Because of the society is in information, internationalize, learning and variety, a forms of communication to peoples is becoming variety, the function of communication is more and more important. In recent years in China, the students' competence of communication is a important parts of the quality-oriented education with the quality-oriented carrying forward. As a one of vital components of school education, Physical Education Teaching(PET) has a unique function to develop the students' competence of communication with its particularity. So developing the students' competence of communication is a realistic question to study theoretically and practice in the school PET.Form a viewpoint of Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Pedagogy, based on the theory of communication, this article has discussed systematically the essential meanings, particularities, functions, the types ,forms and influenced factors of interaction of teacher-student through the methods literature, survey, educational observation, video analysis, sociometry,educational ethnology, statistics. The results of research are as follows:(1) PET is the activity of communication between teacher and student for fulfiling the tasks of P.E.teaching by objection and intermediary of P.E. curriculum content. It is the . unified activity of teaching and learning, in essence is the communication that reflecting the ideas of communication in P.E teaching.(2)The communication of PET is a special type of social communication, the relation of teacher and students in the process of P.E.teaching is the intersubjectivity relation;It has the some characteristics that the comprehensive of physique and mental ,the much free of communication ,the interaction of essence power to each other ,the body language trait of communication means. The function of communication of teacher and students has some that pass on information with increasing the knowledge and experiences of person, psychological health care, coordinating interperson behavior, raising self-consciousness with promoting the good personality of students.(3)The interaction of teacher-student in PET is the process that behavior influencing both teacher and students due to communicating each other, it has some features that the unite of organized and non- organized, the compound effects of interaction and the quick feedback of interaction results. The types of interaction between teacher and students has two that one is teacher starting, other is student starting, the interaction with teacher starting is main form, the interaction with students starting is secondary. The character of interaction between teacher and students is that the positive is much than the negative, that is accord with the demands of teacher and students role.(4)The features of main body and times of the interaction of teacher-students is that the interaction of teacher-students is a main form, the interaction of student-student is a secondary form;the interaction of teacher- grouped student- is more, the interaction of grouped student -grouped student is less. That reflecting the communication between students is lack in primary and secondary school PET. The two patters of communication is the mutual, and the multiple, in same ,there are three types relations of teacher and students that leadership, authority and tolerant-authority.(5)The influenced factors of the communication of teacher-students are that the quality of teacher, the individuals of student, the climate of P.E. teaching and the information of teaching with the intermediary of communication. The competence of communication to students is developing by the measures that to optimize the relation of teacher-student, to help student establishing the place of role in the group activity, to improve the ability of group-teaching ,etc.
