China's Sports Industry Value Chain Management Model Study

The rapid development of social economy and the advent of economic globalization bring keen competition in Chinese sports industry. How to gain competitive advantage and adopt appropriate management pattern to achieve sustainable development of Chinese sports enterprise have been put on top of our agenda. This paper makes profound study on the value chain management pattern of Chinese sports industry with the main thread of value chain on the theoretical basis of the complicated adaptive system theory, the theory of value engineering as well as the newest research findings of the management integration study, the theory of constraints and the theory of supply chain management in combination with advanced management technique. It illustrates the core target of management and uses the research findings of domestic and foreign institutions as a reference. It endeavors to deepen people's understanding of inter-competition behavior from the brand new angle of providing Chinese sports enterprises with a feasible strategic plan; it further discusses how the sports enterprises create and maintain the competitive advantage in local market and achieve sustainable development of the company that is full of youthful spirit. Main contents: it analyzes the development platform of Chinese sports industry, including the main feature of policy environment, economic environment and industrial environment, the present status and development trend of sports industry and the industrial environmental condition that needs to be improved. It studies the structure of the value chain of Chinese sports industry: it defines the value, function and cost of sports industry, classifies sports industry, specifies the composition of the value system of sports industry and brings forward optimum solution for the management of sports industry; it makes logic analysis on the Chinese sports industry value chain (CSIVC). Special stress is laid on the essence of competitive strategy, the logic-thinking patternll of value chain, the theory of the value innovation of sports enterprises as well as the strategy of establishing a value chain. It describes the application approach of the management pattern of CSIVC: it discusses the application approach of the management pattern of CSFVC and especially analyzes how to optimize core capability, business flow and information flow in light of the specific condition of sports enterprise; it makes a profound study on typical sports enterprise: severalrepresentative sports enterprises are taken as an example in case analysis so as to verify the applicability and feasibility of the above-mentioned theory, method and technique. Moreover, it makes an assessment on the management pattern of the value chain of sports enterprises and brings forward many pertinent proposals. The innovative points of this paper are as follows:(1) It is the first time to study the conception, structure and method through theoretical analysis and case analysis with the main thread of value chain. It carries out a systemic and all-around study on the management pattern of the value chain of Chinese sports industry from the aspect of the management theory, organizational form and management style.(2) It applies many different methods, measures and tools to make a study on Chinese sports industry on the basis of the theory of management integration. It brings various resources of sports industry into the span of management from the angle of system integration, which broadens the range of sports management, pay a tribute to the development of the theoretical study of sports business management, enriches the management of sports industry and fills in gaps in the strategic management of sports enterprise.(3) It discusses sports industry as a complicated adaptive system, the feature of which is fully presented for the study of the management pattern of value chain: initiative, flexibility and operability.
