2018 is the year of the full-scale outbreak of e-sports in China,Chinese E-sports in the League of Legends World Finals,Asian Games and other large international events have made remarkable achievements,people pay more and more attention to.This paper mainly studies the value of Chinese e-sports industry chain,explores the current development of Chinese e-sports industry chain,the development of the various elements of the industry chain and how to realize the value among the links.In order to understand the current stage of the development of Chinese e-sports industry scale,the composition of the industrial chain,problems and successful cases,in order to ensure the healthy development of E-sports industry,we try to optimize each part of E-sports industry chain in order to enrich the theory and content of E-sports industry in our country and in the concrete practice.In this paper,we use literature method,expert interview method and case analysis method to carry on the research,review the related literature of our country e-sports and industry chain,and interview the representative experts in the field of e-sports.And selected the ‘Honor of Kings' project which is emerging on the market and developed independently for our country as a case study.Through research and analysis,the development of e-sports industry chain in China is gradually becoming mature.At present,the composition of E-sports industry chain in China can be summarized into five parts,including the regulatory department,the upstream of e-sports,and the middle of e-sports.E-sports downstream and e-sports derivatives industry.This paper analyzes the value generation of each part of the industry chain,in which the upstream core lies in the electronic competitive game itself,and how to produce the value lies in the development and operation of the game.At the same time,a new electronic competitive game will also have an impact on software andhardware developers,can promote users to upgrade their equipment.The core of the middle reaches lies in e-sports events,the industry chain of e-sports events is similar to the industry chain of traditional sports events,but the difference is that it is mainly the product of relying on the Internet,so it has the right to broadcast.Derivative products and other forms are mainly on-line.The core of the downstream is the content products,which are mainly live broadcast platform and short video platform.The platform can generate economic benefits through user reward,advertising and combined transportation with games.In the analysis of the case ‘Honor of Kings',this paper makes a concrete analysis of how to realize the value of the industrial chain.It is worth mentioning that ‘Honor of Kings' in addition to the economic value,Its game design has played an effective role in promoting the traditional history and culture of our country,and has shown its cultural value.In the future development of Chinese e-sports industry,this paper believes that the focus should be placed on the downstream content platform and derivative industries.This part of the development time is relatively short but has already had considerable achievements,and the government has corresponding policy support.It is the next opportunity point for the development of e-sports industry.
