Study Of Juvenile Sports Clubs Operating Mode

Since 2000, 1899 juvenile sports clubs have been established in China nationwide with the support of sports lottery welfare fund. The Sports Bureau of China expresses that in the future it will continue to support the establishment of juvenile sports clubs with sports lottery welfare fund and during the tenth "Five Years", about 3000 juvenile sports clubs will be set up according to its plan. With the continuous expanding of the juvenile sports clubs in both quantity and scale, and due to the lack of operation models for them to follow when they cannot completely imitate the operation pattern of the units they are attached to, the juvenile sports clubs have to operate and administrate in the mode of the planning economy, therefore many problems have emerged in the operation process of the clubs. These problems are mainly revealed in the following aspects. First, the nature, objective and particular tasks of the juvenile sports clubs are not clarified; second, the juvenile sports clubs are poor in initiatively developing, acquiring and managing various resources; third, the services provided by the juvenile sports clubs are monotonous, therefore they lack appeal to juveniles; fourth, there is a lack of service awareness among the club clerks and the quality of service of the clubs is low. All the above-mentioned problems block the juvenile sports clubs to develop rapidly and operate smoothly. Unfortunately, there is little research fruit concerning juvenile sports clubs in China at the moment. In addition, the present research concerning juvenile sports clubs is not systematical nor profound enough, so it cannot guide the operation and development of these clubs.In order to help the juvenile sports clubs develop smoothly and rapidly, and achieve their objective of providing satisfactory service for Chinese juveniles, this dissertation sums up and constructs the operation pattern of self-run, self-development, and self-improvement for the juvenile sports clubs of China with the research methods of literature and data-collecting, questionnaires, case studies and logical analysis and so on. The significance of this research is obvious. It is beneficial to hold the club operation process on entirety, clarify the purposes, functions and features of the clubs, improve the management of resources effectively, provide better service which appeals to juveniles, heighten the awareness and quality of service, and it helps to deal with the relationship between the clubs and juveniles properly.The operation of juvenile sports clubs is a process of input and output under the control of social norms and regulations. Such input is the various resources, while the output is the service of the clubs. In the process of transforming input into output, there are surely activities like service design and service spread. Hence this dissertation mainly deals with the following issues: the definition of juvenile sports clubs and its operation pattern; the orientation of juvenile sports clubs; the management of the capital, human resources, information, space and facilities of the clubs; the principles of service design; the design of service and its flow chart; the strategies of service pricing, service spread and improvement; service quality and the pattern of its management; and how to make the juveniles loyal to the clubs and maintain their loyalty. Based on the analysis of the preceding issues, conclusions are drawn as follow:First, the operation pattern of juvenile sports clubs is the way by which the links of the operation process as well as the key elements of each link combine together. It is also the normal form and regular pattern of operation flow. Above all, it is the guidelines, principles of the operation of clubs and the effective solutions of problems in their operation.
