Education receives critics from all the circles as it is pushed to the center of the society,for the reason that it oppressed the human nature. Seemingly, it was education that turnsstudents to be machines for exams. While, actually, the basic reason lies in the alienation ofeducation itself. That is to say, education violated its objective law and genuine goal onmacro-analysis,also, it reversed its ends and means on micro-analysis.Frankly speaking, the alienation of education is of necessity to some extend. Since itseparated itself from ancient production, education has existed as a privilege control of themajority. In addition, screening test aggravated students' one-sided development. Sincemodern history,the faith of beating knowledge, the alienation of technology and thescreening plant of talented persons sharpened alienation of education.Nowadays, not only the educational goal is disassembled, but also the educationalfunctions are unbalanced. As a result, education becomes a tool for domesticating youth andpursuing material gain. On the contrary, it doesn't do its duty in fostering one's physique,cultivating one's character,or developing one's faith. Thus it can't accelerate one's all-rounddevelopment.The reasons lie in both inside and outside education system: the development ofeducation and the whole society is the basic one. As is known to all, since human being'srelations of dependence transited from other people to objects, education experience playedthe part of the most important yardstick. So, from outside, political power began to interposeeducation practice, besides, competition among youths to gain the chance for educationbecame more and more intense. From the inside, on the other hand, educational theory alsoplayed a part in the alienation of education.In the current historical period, we can only explore the method of solve the problemwithin a certain limitation. All that can be done is to abide by educational objective law andlegal rules in order to settle the dissimilation of political power's interference, and to inheritour own outstanding educational tradition in order to differentiate foreign theories.Furthermore, we must try our best to ensure the justice and fairness of distributioneducational resources. So long as we do take conscientious measures,we can approach theeducational goal of people's all-round development and human being's freedom andliberation.
