As education is concerned with human, pedagogy should take research about person as its core The academic tradition of pedagogy study guided by Marxism has continued since the prevalence of Marxism in China in the first half of the 20th century .However, for historical and social reasons, there still exist a lot of problems in the application of Marxist theory to studying educational issues even today. Some of the problems can be stated as follows: in the study of Marxism, the influence of ideology often greater than that of scientific ideas; at a period of time ignored while at another period attached too much importance; simple affirmative or simple negative in different periods; mechanically copying and deductive inference as methods; superficial understanding and dealing with the content at will , and so on. Marxism has been proven a valuable world outlook and methodology by history and practice, therefore, pedagogy study should persist in taking Marxism as its guidance as usual.It is known to all that the core of Marxism theory is its philosophy, and Marxist philosophy embodies the study of human being in a certain sense, that is, taking "liberating the human beings" as its purport. So, it is not only possible but also necessary that we discuss issues of human in pedagogy on the basis of Marxist theory.This paper focuses on Marx' (including Engels') thinking about human, mainly on their ideas of the nature of the world and society, of all-round development of people and of practice. On the basis of this, the study reconsiders issues about human in pedagogy. The details can be expressed as follows:On the basis of Marx's ideas of the nature and "generic nature " about human, the paper not only explains the nature of life in education, that is, the life in education shows itself as a process of growing up with its unique individuality and inherent driving force, but also points out that people's need as their nature is a natural expression of life, thereby making every effort to understand and help people in education on the true meaning of life is of great significance.On the basis of Marx's connotation of "nature of human is the sum of social relations on reality ", the study reconsiders human social nature in education , and re-understands the issues such as" people's socialization and individuation " , and emphasizes that understanding people's social nature in education should focus on " concrete individuals " . On the basis of Marx's "all-round development " theory, the paper thinks further about the development of people in education and all-round development education , concluding that people's all-round development should be a kind of comprehensive development considering their all-around needs through practice. Simultaneously, the paper surveys all-round development education of our time.On the basis of Marx's revelation of the significance of practice in shaping a person, the study gives a deep thought of the nature of practice in education and their relationship with individuals, and brings forward the opinion that as two kinds of fundamental practice in education, learning and communicating play decisive roles in promoting possibility to reality in people's development.According to the investigations and discussions on the aspects above, the paper claims: on the basis of the new understanding of people's issues in education in Marxist theory , we should firstly reflect on our viewpoint of human in pedagogy and secondly, we should have a proper understanding and methods to apply Marxist theory about person in the present study of pedagogy; finally, we should conclude a way to view human in education from the standpoint of pedagogy.
