The thesis selects the research project of IT supported physics learning and teaching. It aims to enhance the quality of learning and teaching by using information technology (IT). As instruction is the same process of teachers' teaching and students' learning, whether the critical or reconstruction of the traditional classroom, will be focused on the "teaching" and "learning". From the perspective of physics teacher's professional development(TPD), this thesis studied the information technology's (IT) role of enhance the quality of learning and teaching. IT could improve physics learning and teaching, is a logical starting point of this research. We study how teachers create the initiative learning situations and physics learning environment with the support of IT. Trying to use IT as the cognitive and sensibility-inspiriting tools of promoting students physics study and the tools of instructional environment-building, to enhance the quality and the effect of physics teaching, which means the realizes of teacher's own development.This thesis totally has four parts. In the first part, the pedagogical theory study is focused on the characteristic of subject instruction, development, analyzing the TPD's history, connotations. The theatrical basements (such as study theories and system science of ITSL, TPD) and their tutoring meanings are discussed. In the second part, according to investigation, we found the utilization of IT in physics teaching is only rest on the first step. So it is significant to research the principles and models of IT supported learning and teaching (ITST). In the third part, as mobile learning is getting more and more popular in learning, it has been discussed that how to effectively learning physics by using network and mobile, and how to design network-based website and the Mobile media resources in physics learning. In the last part, we introduced the designs, instructional processes, and practical technologies of the IT workshop for physics teachers and introduced the Video case study in practices.The thesis attempt to find the effective models of TPD and hope can provide the research model of integrate IT into the physics curriculums forwardly.
