The historic progress of human civilization has been deeply reflected by the evolution and development of the Model Education. As the kind of practical activities accompanying the human society, the status and function of Model Education is indispensable in the development of the human civilization. However, with the speeding of the social modernization, the consequence of globalization, the conversion from the homogeneous society to the idiosyncratic society and interest subject's and value idea's diversity, the Model Education is in the unprecedented dilemma in the new historical period, which includes the large contrast between the high input and expectations and low input and effectiveness about the Model Education, the reality that the seeming prosperity covering the descending reality about the Model Education. In face of the contradiction between the realistic need and the Model Education, the Model Education should be researched totally and responded positively both theoretically and practically.The theoretic and realistic response of Model Education is on the assumption of definition and essence of Model Education, and based on the investigation and reflection on the development and evolution of Model Education. This paper discusses in depth the connotation and essence of Model Education after analyzing the historic development of connotation and extension of the Model Education as well as its meaning and characteristics, and reflects the experiences and lessons of Modal Education, so as to create conditions for the theoretic and realistic response.In respect of the theoretic response of Model Education, this paper reveals and analyzes the fundamental elements, content and structure of Model Education statically, while it examines and investigates dynamically its developing process and laws. In view of the fact that traditional Model Education lacks the scientific theory's support, this paper emphasis on the core status of model combined with the specific characteristics on the basis of the common elements in the normal education. On the shortcomings of the inner-operative subjects in the traditional Model Education, this paper takes the Model Education as a mutually dynamic procedure of educators and students, and emphasizes the value and the significance of the receptive process. Based on the comprehensive analysis of the contradictory movement among the elements of Model Education, this paper summarizes the basic laws of Model Education through analyzing the summary process and the specific process, which provides the theory's foundation for the Model Education's scientification.With regard to the realistic response of Model Education, this paper holds that the effect of the Model Education relies not only on the theoretical preparation but also on the exploitation and using of the realistic conditions. However, among the realistic conditions, the resources of Model Education and reliable powers become the indispensable factors in the practice of Model Education, as well as the moving basis for the Model Education to carry out. The traditional Model Education lack the comprehensive thought to taking advantage of the resources that is the important support to carrying out the Model Education, which leads to the power's shortage and the developing space's limitation. By virtue of the identification of both the traditional and current resources and using the traditional resources, this paper aims at expanding the theoretic resources of Model Education, and refining the manpower resources, as well as exploiting the resources of its information and ideology. Meanwhile, as a systematic project concerning the whole society, the implementation of Model Education needs the supports of all kinds of powers. In consideration of the significant difference among these powers, it is necessary to clarify and integrate these powers and then combine them together. In this connection, this paper not only traces foundation from Scientific Concept of Development, but also analyzes the position and role of the strength of family, society and schools, so as to create conditions for reinforcing the effectiveness of Model Education.The relationship between theory and practice about the Model Education is opening. For the sake of reinforcing the effectiveness of Model Education, the guide of scientific Model Education is requisite. Similarly, the improvement and development and complement of the Model Education is achieved only in the practice process of the Model Education. Therefore, besides responding Modal Education theoretically or realistically is not the once action, which is the mutually interacting process consisting with the need of social development to the Model Education.
