Research On Mechanism And Evaluation Of Influence Of Foreign Trade On Economic Growth Of Heilongjiang Province

Significant changes have occurred in the foreign trade of our country in total volume, commodity structures, trade terms and foreign trade system since the reform and opening-up of China. It is worth mentioning that China's economy is becoming more and more dependent on international market,and the overall operation of the national economy is increasingly influenced by development of foreign trade with deepening globalization in recent years. The economy of Heilongjiang Province grows at high speed with rapid expansion of its foreign trade which strengthens the influence on economy day by day and has become an important factor for supporting sustainable,fast and healthy growth of Heilongjiang Province's national economy. Accrodingly, we conduct deep and systematic study about the effects and evaluation of Heilongjiang Province's foreign trade on the economic development, which aims to provide reference of the theories and decisions for the sustainable development of the foreign trade and economic coordination of Heilongjiang Province.The present study make analysises of the influence of foreign trade on economic development in several foreign countries,and the development status and regional development mode of foreign trade in the scope of China, which provide domestic and international references for Heilongjiang Province's foreign trade.Based on the analysis of development status of Heilongjiang Province's foreign trade,the study make deep analysis of mechanism of the impact of foreign trade on economic development, put forward relational structure of economic development and growth,industrial structure,technological progress, and construct the mechanism and framework of evaluation system for influence of foreign trade on economic growth of Heilongjiang Province.Analysis is carried out in the article on the mechanism of relationship between foreign trade and economic growth from the four dimensions: demand,supply,introduction of foreign investment and technical progress.the evaluation and empirical analysis is made about the influence of foreign trade on economic growth with the method of co-integration analysis,which shows that import plays a significant role for economic growth of Heilongjiang, but the potential of export for promoting economic growth has not been fully developed. Quantitative analysis on the contribution to foreign trade in economic growth with input-output effect analysis model shows that the contribution to foreign trade in economic growth of Heilongjiang is less than the contribution by capital, but greater than the contribution by labor force.The influencial mechanism of foreign trade on industrial structure is studied,and evaluated with vector autoregressive model in the paper. It is proved by practical cases that foreign trade and the secondary industry has positive correlation,but the function of promotion of foreign trade to the primary industry and the tertiary industry is weak, It is proved by pulse response method that the primary, secondary and tertiary industries respond differently to the impact of foreign trade, which indicates that foreign trade has significant effect on promotion to the growth of the secondary industry, has some effect on the fast growth of the tertiary industry, but has insignificant correlation with the primary industry.The influencial mechanism of foreign trade on technical progress is studied,and proved that foreign trade is a result of technical progress through Granger causal relation test in the paper. The test leads to the conclusions that the technical progress of Heilongjiang promotes growth of import and export. But export and import show less significant promotion effect to technical progress,which indicates that the technical innovation mechanism in Heilongjiang represented by "introduction, indigestion and innovation" does play an important role. Therefore, we have to work out a technical innovation mechanism for strengthening technical progress by import and export, so as to play the role of technical overflow of international trade and promote technical progress of Heilongjiang Province.In the present study we construct and give the evaluation system of development capacity of foreign trade in Heilongjiang Province, construct the evaluation model with the grey correlation and entropy methods,and evaluate the development capacity of foreign trade in Heilongjiang Province by practical cases.In summary the study is conducted from those aspects as follows:the full advantages of the Northeast Asian regional trade, the enhancement of economic and trade cooperation with Russia and the structural optimization of merchandise export, the improvement of product quality and value, the promotion of the positive interaction between technological progress and growth in external trade.In the end,it is systematically proposed that measures of foreign trade development are valuable for fasting economic growth and promoting economic revitalization in Heilongjiang Province on the basis of the present study.
