The dissertation mainly discusses the design of information system of dynamic monitoring and evaluation of economic situation of agriculture, from the following aspects:(1) Based on the application and development of the agricultural information system, the dissertation describes the dynamic monitoring system for agricultural economic situation in the necessity, significance, role, application level and key nodes and so on.(2) The dissertation indicates the dynamic monitoring system of agricultural economy is based on the theory of information systems and agricultural economics theory, and its technical support included data technology, space information technology, network and communication technology, decision support systems and expert systems.(3) Under the economy and society environment, the dissertation discusses the contents and structure of dynamic monitoring indicator system, then makes the standards for data collection and evaluation.(4) From the micro perspective, the dissertation describes the principles and methods for designing the dynamic monitoring network, and then determines the scope and objects of data collection.(5) To meet the function requirements on time-series analysis and spatial analysis, the dissertation determines the data encoding scheme, designs the structure and management method of the database, then provides the platform for data storage and management.(6) According to the characteristics of the agricultural economy, the dissertation probes the method of agricultural performance evaluation and prediction, and designs multiple application models, then lays the basis for decision support.(7) Taking the system of dynamic monitoring and evolution of agricultural economic situation in Shanghai suburbs as a case study, the dissertation discusses how to refine and expand the theoretical framework and how to handle the practical problems.(8) The dissertation points out the parts which need to be improved and the study direction in the future after summarizing the research on the information system of dynamic monitoring and evolution of agricultural economic situation.The major results of the dissertation are following:Firstly, construct the indicator systems for dynamic motoring on economic situation of agriculture. The indicator systems can be divided into two parts:core index systems and auxiliary indicator systems, which include indicators on product content, input, output and performance, and the influence factors such as policy, natural resource, labor, facility, service, disaster and market and so on. Taking the planting industry of Shanghai suburbs as an example, focusing on producers'input and physical output, the dissertation establishes a feasible, in-depth and detailed indicator systems.Secondly, design a motoring network for dynamic motoring on economic situation of agriculture from both the spatial distribution and monitoring types. On the spatial distribution, the motoring network is based on the grid of kilometers, whose size can be properly scaled.On the monitoring types, the motoring sites should be chosen on producers'types, production types, scale of production and management methods and so on. A reasonable percentage to various types of monitoring should be set in accordance with regional characteristics of agricultural production. For instance, the monitoring network solution of Shanghai suburbs shows how to combine regional agricultural production with the design of monitoring network, gives the ratio and layout of every type, according to crops, rotation crops, producers'types, scale of production, production types.Thirdly, determine contents and levels of the databases for dynamic monitoring. According to the data format, three kinds of databases should be built:business database, spatial database and metadata database. Business database is organized and stored as the dimension of agricultural economic information (time, space and indicators); spatial database is organized and stored as the scale, geographic scope, elements, classes and geometric features; metadata database is responsible for the organization of the entire databases.Fourthly, establish model library for decision support. In accordance with the needs on assessment and prediction of agricultural economy, propose multiple application models are designed, which can be used for correlation analysis, main factors identification, productivity evaluation comprehensive assessment, production forecasting and so on.
